stay away from Tokros, if you want every color of the rainbow for your coloring then they are the place, if you want "normal" coloring then Tokros is not for you! Staff talk about other customers in a rude form! Had my hair colored by Megan, which was not the coloring of a picture I showed her. I complained and was told to come back to the salon for a gloss! Why wasn't the gloss applied while I was there? $196.45 was the cost for terrible service!!! more

Good: The decor is great.. Bad: Someone said to come here if you want VIP treatment, well I would say come her if you want to be around staff that think THEY ARE VERY IMPORTANT. Also, someone said they have had extensive training, but that does not mean they absorbed the training. From experience i've been to a hair dresser who has traveled all around doing training but seriously F'd up my hair; it broke off and the coloring was unsightly. I since have changed to another salon which decor not as spectacular, however the quality was 100%. Improvements: while that of tokros is 50%. The stylist put color in your hair and then walk in the back and all visit with each other. I prefer a stylist who is interested in me and have it be a very personal ecperience.. Other: DO NOT CHOOSE TOKROS!. more

Tokro's has a fantastic spa pedicure which will run you $55 and I cannot express how wonderful it is. Their hairstylist are extensivly trained in the newest techniques and up to date styes.The staff is all about the clients needs and the goal is to pamper, pamper, pamper. If living in or visiting Starkville, drop in, view the art, experience the services and leave feeling like a VIP. more

Tokros is a small trendy hair and nail salon. It is located above a store in downtown Starkville. It has alot of artwork displayed in the store that you are able to purchase. The prices are what you would find anywhere else, the price for a cut and color is $125. They also do manicures and pedicures. The pedicure is $35 and a manicure is $25 and they give a discount on some months if you are in a sorority which really helps. Tokros also does acrylic nails and tips. more
