Tognottis, what can I say, I love the idea of the 'Hot Rod' shop. That being said I am currently doing a restoration on a second generation Pontiac Trans Am. I can literally write a book on price discrepancies on parts but I wont. I understand that Tognottis will price match so its up to the consumer to do the homework. I priced an Edelbrock Performer intake manifold at Tognottis, Edelbrock part number 3711, they wanted $330 before tax. I was able to get this exact part delivered from Edelbrock to my house through Autozone for $228. Yes delivered to my house. Thats $100 in savings on 1 part! I have purchased sooo many aftermarket parts for this car, and they were higher on every part I purchased. If they will price match thats fine, if I lived next door that would be even better. I still shop there, but being on a budget I have to be frugal. Moral of the story, price match before you go there. more

Winter is around the corner and my Mercedes needed some new tires. My husband, who is a long time customer of Tognottis, told me to come down for a set of tires. Not only did they have my tires waiting for me, but I was in-and-out within less than a hour. Granted they did have 1 person ahead of me that they were finishing up. The turn around time was very fast! The price was amazing for the set of 4 and the tire guy let me watch him put the tires on. My wheels were very expensive, which I also purchased from Tognottis. They did amazing work, cheap prices and very friendly.\r \r I can recommend Tognottis to anyone! more

I recently purchased the new Scion FR-S!! My first thought was I need a intake and maybe some new wheels and a drop! So I went down to Tognottis Auto World to see what they have to offer. I was able to special order a AEM intake system! Should arrive sometime next week! I was also able to get a set of lowering springs from Eibach which should arrive around the same time, i think sooner. Although I wasnt able to find a nice set of wheels, their helpful support was all I needed!\r \r Very helpful with finding my parts!\r I will continue to come here, as I am a pleased customer!\r thank you!! more

Awesome place!\r I recently purchased a new car and I wanted to get some goodies for it! I talked to Victor about getting some lowering springs, possibly a turbo kit, and misc hoses and fittings. Victor gave me some GREAT prices all across the board!\r \r I then talked to Bob and Steve about getting some 19x10 wheels for this beast! They both recommended different wheels from; BBS, American Racing, etc.\r \r Everyone here has helped me tremendously. Tognottis is like Toys 'R Us!\r They have ALL the toys any car lover could ask for!\r Its like a dream come true! Not only do they have TONS of parts in stock, they're all reasonably priced as well! I get lots of help from the parts guys. You can tell that they know what their talking about. I can start a sentence and they can finish it. Very knowledgeable! The cashiers are also nice.\r \r I recently bought some wheels and tires for my truck and Steve recommended I get a lift kit to complete the look I was after. They installed it the next day, and I cant be happier! And best of all, they didnt charge me an arm and a leg!\r \r THANKS TOGNOTTIS! more

Alex is the go-to guy! Every time I stop by tognottis, I always wait for Alex. Not matter what! He is the go-to guy! He has helped me tremendously on past projects and future projects. He knows everything from the ground up! Alex helped me with rebuilding my rx7 motor, special motor mounts for engine swaps, i mean this guy is like a gear head god!\r \r Thanks Alex for being so cool and being tremendously helpful! more

i might as well call victor my mechanic. Victor has helped me through a lot over the past couple months! from my broke down civic, to my old but new challenger. he helped me replace a lot of the parts in my old civic, and has helped me upgrade parts on my challenger. from water pumps, to head gaskets, headers to fuel pumps. Victor is my go to guy whenever i have a problem or just looking to replace with something new. Thanks Victor! 5 stars for quality, service and great prices! more

i recently picked up 67 camaro from a family member. this is one of those fixer-uppers. it needed a lot of work and i figured i might as well start on the motor first and work my way through the rest. i wasnt sure were to start so i came into tognottis to look around. i couldnt believe that they sold basically complete engines ready to go without a tranny! i just had to get one. cost me a little over 6 grand! it had all the performance goodies, cams, rockers, custom painted block, edelbrock manifold and tons more! im glad i came here first instead of buying piece by piece. this has saved me a lot of time and effort! more

After i bought my mom some stuff for her mustang, i actually came back to get some stuff for my mercedes. i first went to tire and wheel and they helped me order a set of 19in chrome wheels and a set of tires for a great price! i also got an eibach lowering kit! tognottis is great! i recommend tognottis to anyone who loves cars or just needs to fix up a car! they are very helpful and informative. thanks! more

Tognotti's brings back childhood memories! My parents used to shop here for over 30+ years, and since I got my first car, ive been shopping here for the last 7! I now own a 90s mustang, and tognottis has helped me build it from the ground up! more

I finally got my tax return a couple weeks ago and decided i wanted to blow it all off on my new Civic. my friend told me about tognotti's and that weekend i went there. its like a playground for car enthusiast! they helped me order my eibach lowering springs, exhaust and helped me pick the right HID kit. now im rollin in style!!! i plan to go back next month to get my wheels and tires! 5 stars for great parts! more

I recently bought a header for my 93 Honda Del Sol and specified that I wanted one that was C.A.R.B legal. Today I went to get my car smogged and found out that it was illegal. I promptly called them to be put on hold for over 20 mins. I hung up and called 30 mins later to talk to a manager in which I was told that I would be contacted. It still hasn't happened. Along with the illeagal header the quailty was horrible the studs fell out which in turn burned up the gasket. the overall cost is $211.18 for the header, $14.01 for the frieght charges, $10.76 for the new gasket, $15.36 for the new bolts, $35.00 fore the failed smog test, and 7 hours worth of working on my car. The total cost is $286.31 and 7 hours for worthless illegal junk. more

RUN, DON'T WALK TO TOGNOTTIS AUTO WORLD!\r \r I first went there to get a couple things, sun visor, some headlight bulbs, and possibly an intake. I went in with nothing and came out with everything! They taught me the basics to intakes. Helped me figure out exactly what I was looking for. They even install most items they sell, which is great because I dont know how to install most things. I also bought a skunk2 coilover kit that they installed. I was impressed that they got it done the same day and I was riding in style! I have no complaints but lots of thanks! more

All i can say is WOW! When my friend first showed me this place, the outside was huge!! Looks like it would be some kind of warehouse! When we got inside, they had everything i could ever want for my car right there! They had everything from performance parts, accessories, hid lights, aftermarket kits, lift and lower kits, even racing seats, all right there at my finger tips! the parts counter guys are also a huge help! They knew exactly what i was looking for, my brand new Edelbrock Carb 1403! Tognotti's used to be a place that people went for good customer service and qualified performance specialists. Mr. Don Tognotti knew how to run a business this way, which meant he knew how to treat customers and his employees. Presently, his kids or whoever he left in charge have, sadly, destroyed the name Don worked so hard to build. School would really do the owners or managers a service. They have managed to alienate and run out every person that gave two beans about that business, and because of this they are now facing complete financial ruin. REAL GOOD. Blame the economy if you wish, but there would still be a loyal following by hot rodders in California had these people been treated with the same respect they once were. Maybe some day they can tell their kids how they could have been something, but instead ran everything into the ground because they could not treat people with decency. Sad, very very sad. Shop here if you wish, you will only be taken advantage of as this is the only thing Tognotti's Auto World does these days. Thanks to price matching, Tognotti's is now the only store you need if you're breathing and you own transportation with 4 wheels! They have a LOT of parts in the store, but I had to order my Eibach springs and they matched a price from an internet company that was well lower than Summit! THESE GUYS WERE COOL! I have to laugh at ""tognottissucks"". He says they sold him a Ford carb for his Chevy! Riiiight. Last I checked, a square bore carb is a square bore carb. Buyers need to be able to work on their cars and know how to install these parts, linkages and all. Until these places have ESP, it might help to know if you have a hood clearance issue, also. \r \r The sales guys at Tognotti's have consistenly asked me important questions that saved me a lot of time in the long run. If you like talking to people in person and touching a part before you buy it, this is your store! If you can't find your hood latch, have trouble with spelling, and don't understand how price matching works (wrenchhead72), you might want to order your parts over the internet, or buy a bike.\r \r It doesn't hurt that the Tognotti's girls that work there are good looking! Pros: Sales staff, QUALITY PARTS, touching a part before you buy it!! Cons: 2 or 3 person line on Saturday. (3 minute wait) more

These people have no idia what the hell there doing. Gave me a four barrel carb for a Ford, I have a Chevy. Then wwent back, got the right one (or so they said) got it home and the hood doesn't clear. Went back again, sold me a short adapter after inspecting my car themselves. Got it hom,e, still doesn't fit. Did I mention I live in Galt?1!?! Kiss my a** Tognotti pr**ks. Stay away from dumb people out there Pros: They didnt rob me at gunpoint Cons: they took my money, charged restock and wasted my gas, and it was all their fault!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! more

This place is My Toy Store!! I could spend hours and hours in there (if my wife would let me!). Very friendly, sharp and extremely helpful staff. These guys KNOW THEIR STUFF and are very willing to help.\r (Not sure what that other dude's problem is, but it sounds like he just wants to rag on someone-probably for his own f-up)\r They matched the mail order price I showed them too. Staff acts as if they are doing you a favor by selling you their stuff. Managers are incompetent and do not keep an orderly business. Place is dirty and Summit Racing beats their prices hands down. DO NOT SHOP HERE. Installers are are unknowledgable, and their work is careless to the point where the customers lives are in danger. Pros: They have a nice light-up sign. Cons: The sign is all they have going for them. more
