The sushi at Todai is definitely not the freshest or best tasting I've ever had. In fact, I rarely eat sushi when I go to Todai these days. I'm not really sure why, but most times the sashimi seems fresher than the fish they use on the sushi rolls. I never eat the tempura rolls as the tempura is never freshly made...so the tempura batter is soggy. Lately, I am more inclined to eat the hot food items...watching for a new batch of tempura to arrive. I also appreciate that they have udon noodles to order. \r

If this location weren't directly on the way home from work, I don't think I'd ever eat here. In fact, these days, I'd probably get a better deal just having Chinese food from Panda Express...which I really dislike.
