Tires Plus doing unecessary repairs 7/17/2009

I stop by this store 4 weeks ago to check out my AC.\r I was given a $1600.00 estimate. I was told that my van needed a new compressor, dryer and evaporator core after a 2 min inspection by their mechanic. I did not accept this. The compressor leak was obvious and that was replaced with the dryer. System was leak tested and repaired by "Car Cool " for under $300.00 . AC has been working perfect since then.It seems like this Tire Plus store has changed the managers and the new managers are writing up problems that does not exist. I do not think it is coming from the mechanics since I was going to that store for the last 3 years and the old management seem honest. I did complain to their main office and got a call from a district manager. I no longer recommend this store to do your auto repairs.\r STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE more

Hard working staff, but Boycott this place for terrible Corporate Practices 3/31/2009

I've taken my vehicles here for 3 years and I won't ever return again. \r \r I've been made aware that they just let go the Manager who worked his hands to the bone for this company and because he didn't sell enough (because he's an honest salesman and not a corporate enforcer and yes its a recession morons).He treated me fairly and treated his staff like gold as well as created a viable business and returning customers I should know I recommend this place to others because of him. Good luck to him, but I hope people choose another Business and don't support a place that doesn't reward hard working people. \r \r Shame on Tires Plus Corporate Managers for stabbing loyal employees in the back and demanding the impossible.\r \r Think I'll find a good NAPA store instead. Oh look there's one down the road. more

Quality Service 11/3/2008

We have used this location for all our vehicle care for the past 5+ years. The front staff is always friendly and gives you the straight scoop on what is wrong (if anything). Work is done in timely fashion. Repair costs always seem to be fairly priced and never been up-sold on un-needed work.Good for any work you are looking to get done for your vehicles.Convenient location - there is a Chili's right next door if you are going to wait for the work to be done. more
