Home Away From Home 11/22/2011

The Tin Roof for me is the bar equivalent of comfort food. Despite the fact I only live a couple of blocks away, I wouldn't go here if the place sucked, and the fact I come 3 days/week on average would tend to reflect that it doesn't. Pros: null Cons: null more

awesome burrito! 10/17/2011

had a veggie burrito and it was delish! love this place and I will be going back for my birthday! more

Decent hangout spot 4/24/2011

Tin Roof is a good place to hang out if you're kind of tired and don't really feel like doing the whole mid-town,Virginia Highlands bar hopping thing. more

Tin Roof, I LOVE YOU!! 3/29/2011

I feel like the luckiest girl in the world to have the Tin Roof Cantina in my neighborhood! Their JionCarlo wings are the best thing I've ever tasted! And the beer even tastes better there, maybe it's because of the awesome atmosphere and friendly, cool people. I also love their fish tacos and my son goes crazy for their Fries and Guacamole. I get over to the Tin Roof Cantina at least once a week to chill out, drink a cold one and eat awesome food while listening to cool music. Great place for Trivia too! more

Hang Out Spot 11/16/2010

I love this place. My friends and I usually only go here on saturday nights, and the place is banging. There is always a huge crowd and usually a live band that plays on friday and saturdays. more

Great Drinks! 11/5/2010

It is a great place to chill after work and even better on the weekends. The drinks are the best and they have a small stage for live music. more

great food, and good prices 10/6/2010

I went here with a few girlfriends today for lunch and we had a great time. Service was on point, and the foos was great. And plus of all pluses, the drinks were cheap. I thank you, but I am sure my boss does not! hehe. more

Great Service! 7/20/2010

It was the birthday of my sister and she would like to try a new place .. so we went to Tin Roof... The food needs a little improvement .. but we were able to handle .. all in all it was a good experience... the service was perfect though .. especially when they knew it was my sisters birthday .. Pros: service more

Affordable beer 7/12/2010

My brother and I went to this place together with his girlfriend for a good night out. The place was good, but the food was not what we expected. It was not fresh and it tasted a little off.. They have good cheap beer though, which we enjoyed. more

cheap beer, but that's it 6/14/2010

this can be a good place to go to if you're looking to get sloshed, but the food ain't good. The wings looked undercooked and the salsa was too watery. it took them close to 15 minutes to get the food out. the beer is cheap though, so maybe they're hoping you won't notice the food if you drink a lot? Pros: cheap beer Cons: bad food more

Always something going on 2/11/2010

For those that miss CJ's Landing in Old Buckhead, Tin Roof is a pretty good replacement - just without the barhopping options. Tin Roof has something going on every night - live music, trivia, poker, whatever. It's a great place to go and hang out with your buds and drink on the cheap. Pros: Live Music, Trivia, great porch/patio, cheap beer Cons: the food probably isn't going to win any awards more

RAW CHICKEN WINGS 1/29/2010

NEVER EAT HERE. I FEEL LIKE THERE IS A GREAT CHANCE YOU WILL GET SALMONELLA OR SOME OTHER TYPE OF FOOD POISONING FROM UNDERCOOKED CHICKEN OR BAD FOOD HANDLING. Pros: NONE Cons: RAW CHICKEN WINGS EQUALS HOSPITALIZATION more

Come here for a game day! 1/24/2010

Arriving on a football game day to Tin Roof Cantina, I was welcomed with enough free parking to supply a packed bar of people. The bar is a great place to watch any sport--football, baseball, hockey, etc. They have two flat screen televisions located behind the bar, which offers a good amount of beers on tap all ranging from extremely cheap to moderately affordable. Ordering the three dip appetizer platter, which includes queso, guacamole, and salsa, has me still raving about how good they were?the salsa isn?t made traditionally, it?s baked! I will definitely venture back on a game day with friends to enjoy a cheap beer? especially since a frequent customer told me they have live music every night. Pros: Affordable beer, great salsa more

Just drive past this place 8/16/2009

Stopped in on a saturday night on the recommendation of neighbor. No one at the door, sat ourselves. Our server got to us eventually. The vodka there is watered down. The beer worked, but its pretty hard to screw that up. Pros: They were recommended Cons: lots of 'em more

Get Wasted for Nothing! 11/17/2008

This bar was AWESOME! The service was great, and they had 200 oz pitchers, 36 oz. mugs for 6$ with 4$ refills, and you get to keep the mug! Keystone pitchers for 5$. What else do I need to say. The place inside is a bit dirty, but I don't care. They had a bathroom attendant. I don't know if that was appropriate, but who cares. This place is also on a weird side of town. Hey Tin Roof, move to Midtown, you would get my support every day if you kept those nice prices that you have, and the great service you have. The waitresses are hot too! I think they do that intentionally. I am 24 years-old so it is not creepy for me to look at girls my own age, but some of these old men need to watch it!; I mean come on, they are married. Anyways, enjoy Tin Roof because you have some drinking to do if you do decide to go there. Pros: Drinks are dirt cheap. Don't know about the food, but the drinks are cheap. Cons: Some hot waitresses. I say that as a con because I think cheap beer is more important more

cheap beer is my favorite brand 3/5/2008

Nice place, but don't expect a super portion with the burrito. It would be a good "diet" option, with less meat than I am used to. Salsa is decent, the nachos rocked.....but... well, I don't think I've ever had bad nachos anyway Pros: cheap beer, good margs Cons: mediocre food more
