Timonium Animal Hospital - Lutherville

Brought my cat for skin problems (with appointment). Had to wait for an hour. Asked receptionist how much longer I have to wait. Was told that I'll have to wait for a "while". At this point I decided that if they are so disorganized I can't entrust them with my pet. Needless to say I wouldn't recomend them. more

I never did get to meet the actual vet, only the assistants. There was no one on one relationship. It was the kind of place you go in and hope that your animal is being treated ok as you wait in the waiting room. It is very clean. Staff is very uninterested. I have a two year old dog who is absolutely the most important thing to me in the world. She's had some health problems lately and I've had very good experiences with Timonium Animal Hospital. I felt the quality of care was very good, the prices are reasonable, and they follow up with you (its the small things that are most important). I know its hard to figure out which veterinarian to choose and I always appreciate others' honest reviews. I definately feel that my dog is in good hands. more

Took my cat to the PetER with follow-up at the vet's the next day.\r Not only did they diagnose, treat, and cure him of 2 illnesses - our\r vet (Dr. Gernhart) has called TWICE in a week to check on\r "Buddy" and to give me test results! Have recommended this\r facility to friends. more

Our family has been with Timonium Animal Hospital through several ownership changes (a LONG time). Most recently, they provided palliative care to our dog when he had cancer, and "did the deed" to put him out of his misery when the time finally came. I can't say enough about how they went out of their way to make him, and us, comfortable. Ted actually ENJOYED his visits... we'd tell him it was time to "go see his girlfriend" (female vet), and he'd zoom out to the van and wait to be lifted in. When was the last time YOUR dog VOLUNTEERED to go to the vet?! All of the doctors even came in to visit him and say goodbye on his last day. You can't ask for people to care any more than that about your pet. The only reason I didn't give them all 5 stars was because they didn't have holistic care options.\r . more
