I took my bike in on a Monday, to have a front wheel speedo installed, a fork adjusted, front wheel bearing seal, an oil change and carb adjustment. I was told it would take about 3 hours of labor... no problem. I never heard from them for a week. I popped in the following Monday, and asked how the bike was coming along, only to hear, ""Oh, we can't put a front wheel speedo on, there's not enough room"". The alternative would be around $1,000. I asked, ""how far are you with the other work?"". They said, ""well, we got the front fork and bearing seal done"". I said, ""Okay, how much longer do you think you'll have it?"" ""About another hour."", I was told. I came back in an hour... it wasn't done. I waited around for another hour, before I was able to pay, and bring it home. It doesn't seem like they're in any hurry, and darn sure don't call their clients to let them know anything. It makes me wonder how much longer I'd be waiting, if I hadn't 'popped in' for a visit.
