We have gone to The Sagamore in the fall and this summer will be the first time we are going in the summer. I have been told it is very, very crowded in the summer but we are prepared. They treat you like first class at The Sagamore. But, be prepared it is super expensive in the summer. We are going for our anniversary. We are planning to walk into town to eat there to save money. We get the Lodge Suites, they are so big and have a view of the lake with a balcony, we feel it is more private then the main hotel. I think this is a great vacation place in the early fall, when prices are a bit lower. I am sure the summer will be great too! I also think it is a great place to go away to celebrate a birthday or anniversary, for us, this is a special place for a speial occasion.
Pros: treat you like first class, beautiful area
