Already ordered food from The Tuck Shop five times and they have to disappoint me.One of my faves is the Vegan Pie (veggies with a mash potato top) and I am a MEAT-EATER!!! A close runner-up is the Chook Pie (chicken,ham,leeks in a white gravy) YUMMY!!! As for getting food delivered,they are quite timely and very nice.Looking forward to eating there again and again. more

A New Place With Great Potential 1/15/2006

Accents and authentic Australian food greet you at The Tuck Shop. A relatively new restaurant, Tuck Up may not have an extensive history but it does have a fantastic selection of delicious dishes. For under five dollars you can get a traditional meat pie, for under $3 you can enjoy a sausage roll or a vegemite sanger. The menu is only supposed to improve in the coming months so check Tuck Up out if you get the chance! more

Aussie Meat Pies 8/9/2005

The Tuck Shop is a small purveyor of great Australian foods. The meat pies are authentically brilliant, reminding me of small Australian bakeries on the North coast. The place also serves Vanilla Slices, Sticky Date Pudding and Lamingtons. Just opened in the East Village (I went there today, 9th August, and they were still setting up). more
