I took my 2005 Chrysler Mini Van to Pep Boys do to the engine light being on. They said 2,700 to fix the Transmission! I said no way picked it up they charged 100.00 for their trouble. I took the Van to The Transmission shop and Aaron had one of his employee test drive it and sure enough I needed a new transmission for 900.00 Less! It did take a week for the repair. however I am very satisfied. Place is very clean as well! more

I searched for many different places for about a week due to past experiences, I DO NOT TRUST people's word. I am a 28 yr old woman that knows nothing about transmissions so when I found this places had great reviews all around I decided to give them a call. I spoke to Aaron and he let me know that he would have a tow come out and get my car free of charge (I live in garland). His customer service was awesome and the time it took to do a transmission rebuild was definitely the fastest I've seen. My car was picked up Monday afternoon and by Thursday the car was ready. They also included a 3yr 36,000 mile warranty on the repair so these guys kow what their doing.. The price definitely was on point with the service no rinkydinky shop here all legit!!! more

I found this shop on Craigslist and since they were literally right down the street from me i called. They came and picked up my 2007 dodge durango on a friday but the are unfortunately closed on the weekends so they could not start anything until monday. Aaron was who i talked to and he was very professional and informative. I was upset with the price i must admit but they gave me a 3 year warranty which softened the blow a bit. I got my truck back in a couple of days and they did a superb job! Thanks guys!! more

I was very happy with the care I received at A1 Transmission. They conducted themselves in a very professional manner. They explained the problems with my car and the cost to make the necessary repairs before they took any actions. I would feel comfortable recommending them to friends. more

After they looked at my car, Aaron walked me out to let me look at it myself and talk over options. They gave me a ride back to my house which I did not plan on and saved my wife from having to load up our two young kids to come get me. He originally told me it would take a day and a half to do the work, but after I explained my situation it made every effort to have my car ready by the end of the day, and he did. It was a great experience. I plant to bring him both of my car for regular maintenance. more

Definitely the place for transmission problems. They had me back on the road in 3 days when other places couldn't even take a look for that amount of time. Reasonable, up-front prices for a reputable shop. Aaron and the guys over there answered all of my questions, returned my calls, and did what they said they were going to do. Great, professional experience all around! more
