The Melting Pot

The Melting Pot is a great place to go for a romantic evening. It is also a fun way to spend an evening with friends. The pace of the meal is slow and allows plenty of time for conservation with minimum interruptions. Our first visit to The Melting Pot was for our anniversary and they handled it perfectly. My husband made the reservations and ordered a dozen roses which were delivered to our table after we were seated. They even came by and took our photo so we would have a memento of the evening. My favorite way to order is to get the dinner for two since it includes everything from appetizer fondue to dessert fondue with a variety of foods to try. The time we each ordered separately I was unhappy because everyone at the table shares a fondue pot and my husband's spicy Cajun food cause my food to become very spicy too. This restaurant is always very busy so reservations are a necessity and should be made far in advance. The price for this meal is a bit high too but well worth it for those special occasions. more

The Melting Pot is a great place to go on a date. Fondue is lots of fun, but be prepared for a long meal. This makes it a fun first date- plenty of time to get to know each other! The Melting Pot is romantic but also pretty pricey. Ordering a la carte is more reasonable, and the chocolate fondue for desert is so good. more
