On a good night, you might be one of 5 people in the audience watching someone bang their guitar against a sandwich for 90 minutes. Ok, that's a bit of an exaggeration (but not much). It's all about "creative" music here, the Luggage Store gallery being the venue for the city's most hardcore improvising musicians. They get some pretty big names (as far as avant music goes) passing through here, and on a lot of nights, there are more than 5 people in attendance. About the closest thing to the NY improve scene that we've got.
