The Little Gym of Preston and Forest

My kiddos have been a part of Little Gym for the past five years. My older daughter started at the Mockingbird location when she was just eighteen months old and later transfered to Preston/Forest when it opened six months later. We had just moved from Houston, which at the time did not have anything like it. My first thought was that I wished that she had been enrolled at an earlier age. She has loved going to The Little Gym ever since. As a matter of fact ,a couple of months after joining we had her second birthday party there as well. The Little Gym has provided the foundation for her strong gymnastics skills now (her skills were so strong that she was asked to join a gymnastics team.....she is one of the youngest children on the team).\r \r When my younger daughter was born, I was so excited to enroll her! She has loved the classes ever since. We even did her second birthday party there as well; she enjoyed every moment of it! Her teachers have been Mr. Joel, Ms. Rachel, and Mr. Armondo. They are all fabulous! Of course, Mr. Joel would not hire a teacher who was any less than exceptional! All of the staff is well trained and know how deal with children. My younger daughter can not wait to go every week. She will take a new endeavor this year by entering a Little Gym Pre-School class w/o a parent. \r \r Little Gym has been a great outlit for both of my children as well as myself. We have met many wonderful mothers and children there who we still keep in contact with even five years later. My 2 yr old grand daughter's birthday party was at Little Gym 7-20-08. The entire party was \r great---for the parents and children. \r \r Four young staff members stayed with the children, played very amusing, organized games with them. After the games they played more, under the supervision of the 4 staff members, who constantly interacted with the children. Although there were almost as many parents as children, the staff did not take their eyes off the little ones.\r \r The ""party room"" is large, more than adequate. The staff helped with serving the children, cleaned up the mess (ages 2-5) and then played with the children for the rest of the time.\r \r The entire facility was spotless. I walked around inside the gym with no shoes or socks on and my feet didn't get dirty.\r \r Overall a great experience---I recommend having parties there for the younger children.
