Richard Davies earned his B.A. in 1992 from Loyola Marymount University and his J.D. in 2004 from Lewis and Clark Law School. While in law school, Davies volunteered his time at Catholic Charities Immigration clinic and interned at the Metropolitan Public Defenders Office in Portland, Oregon. With a decade of experience in criminal law, Davies has represented clients in cases ranging from traffic violations to capital murder. He has extensive trial and courtroom experience, and, in 2007, attended the National Criminal Defense College in Macon, Georgia for an intensive two-week training program designed specifically for trial work. Prior to starting his own firm, Davies worked as a Washoe County Public Defender for four years and for Laub and Laub, a private law firm based out of Reno, Nevada, for five. During his time with Laub and Laub, Davies worked in criminal law, family law, personal injury and immigration.
