The Laser Center of Coral Gables

My experience with the Laser Center of Coral Gables was great. I had my LASIK eye surgery done there. The staff was especially friendly and charismatic. They followed up with me after the surgery. I only had it done a few days ago, so I'm still in the healing process. They gave me eye drops that have been helping to improve my vision big time. The difference is truly something else. For the first time in days, I put on my seeing glasses, and the vision was completely blurry! That was a great feeling after needing to rely on them for so long. I already have recommended them to others, and I will definitely continue to do so to others. I really can't complain. more

I see better now than I ever did before with glasses or contacts. Being a firefighter it is amazing to be able to go on calls at any time of the day or night and not have to worry about glasses or contacts. My only regret is not having this procedure done sooner. I could see better than 20/20 just minutes after my surgery and 20/20 ever since (it's been about six years now). I'm seeing the same doctors/staff all these years later and they are a credit to this office. I highly recommend this facility if someone is considering having lasics done. more

Background: -4 myopic, had contacts and glasses since 12 years of age I decided to seriously consider LASIK at 28 years of age and went around to a bunch of centers that provided this service. My initial consultation with TLC made my decision easy. The entire staff made me feel unbelievably welcome to their practice and answered every single question I had (no matter the question and sometimes after hours). The value of their service holds immeasurable value, especially when dealing with something as important as my vision. Recently moving from NY and finding out they had an office there also helped. Dr. Stelzer is a consummate professional, patient and very knowledgable. He managed the pre and post-operative process. Dr. Aran performed my iLasik surgery. I could instantly tell he had tons of experience and am grateful he did a super job with my eyes. Luisa Rivas was my consultant at the practice. She answered any questions with a smile and assisted me in financing the procedure. Joanne, if it was not for you my first impression of TLC could've been like all the other initial consultations. I have already recommended The Laser Center of Coral Gables to other people. The service and everything was great. They explained the procedures well. The only hesitation I have is that the recovery takes a little while to get back to normal. I'm still kind of waiting for that. I assume it's just a natural progression after surgery to still have a little haziness and that it's just part of the healing. Otherwise, they have good follow up and good pre-op. The operation was great and the post-operation was really great. It's a very good option and I'm glad that I went with them. more

TLC Laser Eye Ctr. has been very professional. They gave me enough information and everything. The only thing they didn't do is a follow up. I was supposed to have a visit with the doctor today, but they didn't call me. I don't know; maybe I was supposed to call the doctor. But they didn't call me either and I was a little bit disappointed. Everything else has been okay so far. Hopefully I will see sometime soon. They've been very professional so far. I would refer somebody to them one hundred percent. more

TLC of Coral Gables absolutely fixed my eyesight. I was almost blind before, and now I can see thanks to the Lasik surgery. Their customer service was perfect, too. more

TLC of Coral Gables did custom lasik on both eyes and it turned out great. There was a little bit of regression after a week, but they gave me medication for it and now it's okay. It's not worth being scared about! I was very worried about it at first but after it was done, realized it wasn't even worth the worry! more

Having Lasik at TLC has been awesome. Everything was well explained and 3 months post-op I have great vision. Before I would swap between reading glasses, then glasses for distance, then prescription sunglasses. I highly recommend this surgery here at TLC. more

The doctor was very helpful and he gave me a lot of information the first day I came in for a consultation. He helped me with any questions, and although I had to wait a bit because I needed to stop using contacts for 6 months it was worth using them. The surgery was painless and I can see perfectly now! more

The doctor knew what he was doing, was very informed, and he made me feel very comfortable with the surgery and that is why I chose them over every other company I was looking at. more
