This renovated hotel is so charming ! The service is outstanding and it offers a FREE breakfast ! What;s not to like. Conveniently located to all area attractions, it is the best deal in NYC ! We always stay here when in town. Pros: Location, service & price. more

Awesome and Convenient 4/3/2010

This hotel was awesome, as first timers to New York from Australia, everyone warned us how small the rooms are in all hotels, unless you pay top dollar you don't have any room, so I was expecting a shoe box. Well when we got there, there was a massive king size bed in the middle of the room with heaps of room around it, small lounge chairs and a huge bathroom. We overlooked the street and across the road to a small park, we even slept with the windows ajar and couldn't hear any noise. We walked everywhere and caught the subway around the corner. I cannot fault this hotel at all, the staff are friendly, rooms are very clean and the price is right, we will definately be back and will stay for sure at the Hotel At Times Square AAA Pros: Everything in walking distance, very clean, staff friendly Cons: Couldn't fault in more

Very Good 4/1/2010

The hotel was right in Times Square, near restaurants, Broadway, and shopping. It was a very small room. very little space for the luggage. It was clean, everyone was very friendly. The night time concierge lady could have been a little more informative and helpful. But for the price, it was a great deal. Be sure an ask if there is parking for your vehicle, especially if you have an SUV. Pros: Great price for the location Cons: small more

Great hotel, great location, great price 4/1/2010

I wasn't expecting a lot out of the hotel based on the price, so I was pleasantly surprised upon walking into the lobby and finding a spot where I would love to sit & visit with friends. There was free internet access and printers, which came in handy since we hadn't printed our theatre tickets. The bedroom was also stylishly decorated. While on the smaller side, it never felt cramped. There was complimentary breakfast the next day that was the best complimentary breakfast I've ever had - hot and cold foods, and the staff pleasantly and efficiently making sure everyone had a clean spot to sit and eat. I have recommended this hotel to several friends and family members and hope to return to the city, and this hotel, soon. Pros: location, price, decor Cons: non found more

Very HAPPY! 4/1/2010

My friend and I stayed during christmas time and we were so very happy with everything and everyone here! Pleasantly surprised by how nice the rooms are and the staff was so nice to deal with. Price was good too. Location is great - you can go just about anywhere from this spot easily! I highly reccommend and I will be staying again! Pros: Pleasant Staff, Clean Hotel, Good Location more

Hotel @ Times Square 4/1/2010

Had chosen from the Internet and wasn't sure what to expect. Upon checking in, the clerk offered me a complimentary upgrade, and the room was beautiful. Lovely furnishings, high ceilings, marble bath. Couldn't be happier, especially at such a low rate. Have strongly recommended to all I know who travel to NY. I was pleasantly surprised to find this updated, modestly priced and modestly appointed hotel so close to Times Square. Very close to Central Park. The rooms were recently updated, very clean, neat. The continental breakfast was a plus - a staff person did a fine job keeping everything stocked. Great place for a family to stay while visiting the City. I took advantage of computer in lobby to print my jetBlue boarding pass. I would definitely stay there again. Pros: convenient to Times Square, clean, updated, friendly staff, Cons: only one elevator to upper floors more

BEST hotel in NY so far 4/1/2010

I love this hotel had a great King size room. Was very spacious for NY. Great Concierge service. So many free services that other hotels charge for, and the Breakfast is out of this world how big of a variety you have for continental. All in all a great hotel and I will always try to stay there when possible. Pros: Everything was great and so many free services Cons: None more

We were looking for an inexpensive clean place to stay for the night and got that and so much more. The location is great and close to everything. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We already have reservations to stay here again on our next trip to the city. We were so glad we took the chance!!!! more

Don't let the chain name scare you away! 3/25/2004

Stayed here from 3/20/04 - 03/25/04. Was totally thrilled with our stay. Room was #421, a corner room. Don't know if other rooms are smaller but our's was quite comfortable! There were four of us, kids 19 and 21 and we had loads of room to move around and TWO closets! Room clean. Only area that could use some work was blinds on the windows that were really dirty, but there were heavy curtains on the window also so we pulled then and that solved that problem! We were never in the room during the day anyway! Two blocks from Times Square and close to everything in the area. At $120.00 a night this was a great deal. Parking garage across street. Hotel will validate your parking ticket for the lower rate! I would highly recommend to anyone! Don't let the name keep you from checking it out!! My niece and I stayed at this hotel for 6 days. The location was perfect. Close to everything we watnted to see. Room was small but who stays in the hotel room when you are in NY. Just perfect and clean. Clean and updated bathrooms. Continental breakfast was just enough to get you going in the morning. Will definitely stay next time visiting New York. It's first-class! No second thoughts... 11/21/2002

What can you say about the Super 8 Hotel in Times Square? It's first-class! This location is located in lower Manhattan right next to Times Square and the Theatre District. It is also a few blocks away from the Fashion district and Macys. As for the hotel itself, the staff is excellent! The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The bathrooms are also spacious with separate bathtub and attached hair-dryers. We stayed there in July and got an excellent deal on the room rate. There's a lot going on in the neighborhood at night, its pretty happening, and it's definitely worth it!! I highly recommend it!! Pros: its the best more

To be in Manhattan, 10 minutes from Broadway, and have these luxurious comforts at just $129 a night at the Super8 Hotel in Times Square is a rare find. Needing a good relaxing sleep? Then the New York Super8 hotel on Times Square as the place to be. The beds are comfortable and very relaxing. Rooms are nice size and the temperature is well controlled compared to the cold wind outside. The room service staff and the concierge are wonderful. In all you feel just at home.
