It is so much fun to walk into the Hobby Shop in Matawan, NJ. What a refreshing change from the commercial type store like Toys R Us or Kay Bee.
I enjoy this store most of all because they have trains, trains and more trains. I love trains and they have trains. There is also a whole "town" of trains for the customers to watch. But enough about the trains.
I also like it because it is just what it says, a shop for hobbies. These include but are not limited to painiting, scrapbooking, geology (limited), children's science. There is also a HUGE selection of Lego's, Thomas the train and Lamaze infant toys.
Being a Scout mom, I also like the fact that they have Scout supplies, both boy and girl.
Granted the prices are not a low as some stores but the customer service is unmatched and the store is clean and comfortable.
