This place cost a little more than your average fast food restaurant, however the portion is unbelievable. Portion is huge and the food taste great. I haven't had a chance to try their hamburger yet, but I heard great thing about it. I always order the pastrami dip. This sandwich should satisfy any meat craving desire. If anyone feels like eating chili cheese fries. This is the place to order those. You will be amazed when you first order the fries. The downside is the portion is too large, and usually I can not even finish the fries before it gets cold. more

The portions are HUGE. Great pastrami. Split the chilli cheese fries or just eat that as a meal in itself. Prepare yourself for a heartattack afterwards, but in a good way. more

Best Pastrami this side of the Mississippi 8/16/2005

While The Hat may not be as world famous for its pastrami as it claims, it definitely should be. Dipped in au jus, topped with pickles, mustard and onions, the pastrami sandwich here cannot be beat. The great sides include the wet fries - an impressive of mound of fries topped with delicious gravy. The chili burger also is a stand out, with generous amounts of chili. The Hat certainly stands out for its quality fast food. more
