This mall is terrible and trashy 1/3/2012

This mall is a complete failure and I don't know how it is still open. Worse yet, I can't believe that the KS drivers license bureau is now located in the mall. What a joke! I'm from out of state and have been to many different types of malls and this one is the horrible! Go to Town Center in Leawood or the Oak Park Mall if you want an indoor mall. This mall is trashy and should be avoided, the city of Olathe should be ashamed to have this place in its city limits. more

It's not all bad 4/14/2006

I know they've been working for a while to bring in some better shops. It's an outlet mall so don't expect Abercrombie to be opening there anytime soon, and there really isn't that great of deals here. It's got a movie theatre, and a food court, which are both pretty nice, but it's quite expansive and only one story so the treck from one shop to another might take yo a while. I've noticed a large flock of power walkers frequent there. So there's a plus....exercise and shop. more

Too much walking at The Great Mall 12/28/2005

The Great Mall is very confusing to shop at. From the outside it is hard to tell where you need to park if you are not going to an anchor store. When you are on the inside you cannot tell where a store is located because you have to walk in a circle and you can't see around the corner. The carpet makes you dizzy to look at as it is in wild colors and designs and they change every 30 feet or so. There are several stores I like to go to but I don't usually make the drive to just go to them as there isn't much else there. more

I go out to this mall every once in a while, they have a variety of shops you don't commonly see here in the city malls and they have a very nice movie theater, they also have a few discount outlet stores inside so if you are looking for a deal those may be worth checking out. I don't enjoy this mall as much as I do the oak park mall but it is worth going to every once in a while more

The Great Plains Mall 7/29/2005

There are few good things at the Great Plains Mall. One good thing is there movie theater. Its just like any other movie theater with all the current movies. The major bad thing is that you have to walk a lot to get to where you need to go. If you walk once around the whole mall you have traveled half a mile. Another bad thing is their food court. They have very little variety compared to Oak Park in regard to choices of food. more

Great Plains Mall not so great 7/28/2005

The Great Plains Mall is at a weird location and is only one floor. The carpet and walls can make anyone dizzy. Most of the shops, no one has heard of. Some of the pluses are the comic mini golf and the movie theatre. A lot of the stores aren’t at Oak Park Mall, but these stores are ones you wouldn’t want to shop at. 2 Stars more
