I am not too sure of how long this place has been around for, but it is definitely old considering the condition of the racks, tables, and balls. The floors are wooden (uncapeted), so everytime a ball flys off the table, everyone hears it and sees it--rolling all the way across the big room. Nonetheless it is a lovely old-fashioned looking place built with an arcade area and a real bar. They do not allow outside food into the pool hall, so in essence that contributes to keeping the place cleaner than some other pool halls. The food they serve at the snack area is not cheap, but good. As for cost per table-- they charge their hourly rate based on the number of players per table, which averages to around $10 an hour. The place tends to be pretty quiet during the day, since the crowd usually turns up at night when they have waitresses serving beer and drinks.
