The Forum Group

I was contacted by the Forum Group and went in to interview. I met with Jennifer the Director as well as other recruiters in the Office Services division. After having met with loads of other staffing agencies previously, I found that many recruiters were just out of college with no substantial client contacts or the ability to assess candidates. I can say the Forum Group are a step way above these agencies. I got the first job they sent me on! It was a very long interview process with lots of steps but I made it through because I was the right candidate for the role and my recruiter knew that when they put me up for the job. I was contacted by the Forum Group and asked to interview for temp positions. When I arrived at the office I was asked to complete the usual paperwork, I-9, work history, etc along with a remedial test assessing vocabulary usage, spelling and basic math problems (addition, subtraction, multiplication & division). I was then surprised to see that the Forum Group accepts applications from those with only a high school diploma and/or GED. I took three ProveIt tests and waited in the reception area for almost 45 minutes waiting to be seen. Meanwhile, as I waited, I was forced to listen to the receptionist on the phone with her mother, and later cousin, discussing a trip to Atlantic City and a potential extra-marital affair. Anne then entered the waiting area, screamed my name and asked me to follow her, without as much as introducing herself or shaking my hand. In the two minutes that we met, she gave me her business card along with a pack of papers and said ""payday is every Wednesday.""
