Beyond Bliss 1/20/2006

I went here with my husband and we both had a great time. We had the Element Infusion and loved every part of it. We were able to be together for the whole first part of the treatment where we sat on these huge comfortable couches and got foot baths and scrubs, and then the most luxurious oil scalp massage. The our therapists brought us to these beautiful massage rooms where I got the best 90 minute deep tissue massage I have ever recieved (my husband felt the same way)! I can't wait to go back and try the facials! Pros: deep massage, friendly, relaxing more

Happy Woman 1/3/2006

I was told about the dragontree on numerous occasions from friends and co-workers, and this weekend I had the delight of finding out why it is always so highly recommended. I received a gift certificate from a few said friends and had a delicious time. My massage was wonderful - and deep enough (not like at most spas) and my facial was totally relaxing. Never leaving 12/11/2005

I have gone to The Dragontree for 2+ years and have never had a bad experience. Every time I get a massage from either Briana or Morgan - and it is always perfect. Last time I went I had a massage from Matt and he was also very great, though I think that I will stick with my ladies. When I have family or friends in town I always bring them there to get treatments - everyone has loved it and wants to go back when they are visiting again. Beautiful experience 12/11/2005

I had such a wonderful evening at there with my boyfriend. We had a foot bath in this gorgeous candlelit room, and then were escorted to our massage room where we had the best massages either of us had ever had! The therapists were very knowledgeable and friendly, and yet let us have our space to be together. I love this place! What an amazing spa - we will be back. Pros: beautiful, massage, romantic more

A nice place. I had a massage and it was good. It wasn't the blow you away - earth shattering experiece you expect - but is was good. The place is kind of thrown together - not in a bad way - just a little granola. I think the skylight is nice - but it was very bright. For the types of services they offer it is a fine interior. Full Bliss Immersion 11/28/2005

I few of my friends had been here and recommended it highly. It was a perfect experience for me. My therapist was super knowledgeable about the treatments, skillful, and friendly. The atmosphere was elegant and organic - not exclusive and hootie tootie, but still classy - a place that you never want to leave. I have been to other spas all around the world (and all around Portland) only to find the heart of what I have been looking for here - skill, customer service, atmosphere, and good "energy". Wonderful... 11/11/2005

My friend talked me into going here with her over the past weekend. I was a litlle apprehensive because I have read some not so favorable revies online. Well she then offered to pay... How can I pass that up? We went, and I have had better but this pace was pretty nice. Clean, relaxing and staffed by kind and caring people. The prices are about average. I had a wonderful facial... I still will go to the place I usualy go though. But I would recommend The DragonTree to anyone. more

I just have to say that I never thought that I would write a review on Citysearch. I have always thought that the people that complain are just unhappy people, and the people that write rave reviews are friends, family, and employees of the business. Well....at least in this instance - - that is not the case. The Dragontree was welcoming and real - not your average experience! My massage was perfectly deep and my therapist sweet. Didn't Quite Live Up 10/14/2005

When I made my appointment it they had to call me back several times to figure it out. When I arrived they started the massage 30 minutes late which got me out of there later than I expected. The massage was ok nothing great, from everything I read I expected a lot more and the prices were way over priced! more

Above and Beyond 10/10/2005

I love to go to The Dragontree. If I could just go there and bask in the peaceful atmosphere everyday I think I would be a better person for it. Every treatment I have had there has been exquisite (including my facial, massage, and acupuncture). The girls are lovely and unpretentious. You really feel like you are in an oasis. What a find 9/15/2005

I started yoga classes at dragontree last month and saw what a beautiful space it is (and their yoga teachers are fantastic and knowledgeable) - so I decided to treat myself to a spa day. I got a massage, a facial, and a foot bath (it was a special they are having) and every single minute of it was fabulous - better than I could have imagined. They took care of every last detail and the therapists were so kind and talented. I will continue to go back to the yoga classes and am determined to make my spa day a monthly thing - I deserve it! Oh - and I made an appointment for an Ayurvedic consultation with their Ayurvedic practioner - I can't wait! Pros: facial, yoga classes, everything else Cons: nothing more

My favorite place to relax in Portland 9/1/2005

I went to the dragontree with my husband for our 5 year anniversary (yeah!). It was perfect. I have returned 4 times since then with girlfriends, my mom, and by myself and every experience has been great. I absolutely love going to The Dragon tree. The girls (and guys) there are so sweet - and great at what they do. It won't be long until all of Portland is beating down their door! I just spent the afternoon on beautiful couches with my best friends receiving the most amazing foot, hand, and shoulder massages and foot baths. Everything about it was perfect and relaxing. Fantastic in every way 8/6/2005

I went to the Dragontree for an afternoon of renewal - and got more than I expected. First I had a wonderful foot bath and delicious tea (not the cheap bagged kind) then I was escorted to a beautiful room for my massage. The massage was perfectly relaxing and therapeutic and my therapist was so sweet! And last I had my facial and waxing with Julie. The waxing was quick and painless (well as painless as it gets) and the facial was amazing! All in all it was one of the best spa experiences of my life....I will be back. This is possibly the best spa I have ever visited. The atmosphere blends perfectly with the green hills that surround this NW Portland oasis. The staff are phenomenal at eliminating daily stress and are astute professionals in handling more complex problems. Whether you are looking for a day of pleasure or to address physical problems, The Dragontree is the best place you can go in Portland. more

I was able to get a fantastic massage without an appointment -- although next time I will make reservations for a much longer massage. Very curtious staff and relaxing atmosphere. I'll definitely return. more
