What the Co-Op lacks in selection, it makes up for in convenience. There is almost never a line when I shop here and the staff always knows where, if anywhere, I can find the items for which I am looking. While I would not go to the Co-Op to find difficult and rare items, they are usually full of basics. more

They'll make you want to fly the coop 8/21/2005

The Co-Op has really fresh mozzarella at a great price. While their selection is a bit limited, they have a variety of quality produce at as good a price as you would pay at a chain store. They have some good sales if you watch closely, but you can’t really plan your list by them. Also, they sell skinless, boneless chicken breasts for cheaper than any chain store I have visited. more

It's okay to miss the Target shuttle 4/30/2005

If 7-11 mated with Trader Joe's, you would get the Co-Op. You go there mainly for the convenience and the selection is a bit limited and pricey, but you can get chicken and living basil for cheap and fresh mozzarella. Now that Swarthmore got a discount for all of its students, it's an even better place to shop. more
