The Cheesecake Factory at Southpoint Mall in Durham NC was very nice. We had to wait, but I think that is always the case at this restaurant, no matter what city it is in! Our server was prompt and friendly. The menu is HUGE! It is a spiral-bound book! We split the portabella mushroom sandwich and the eggplant sandwich. Both were a bit messy, but good. The portabella sandwich was my favorite! And, of course, we had cheesecake. Again, there are too many choices, it was hard to narrow it down, but we finally decided on the chocolate and raspberry truffle cheesecake. Wow! Divine! This restaurant is a bit pricey, but worth it every now and then! more

Very pretty inside, huge portions 4/12/2006

The paintings and detail inside Cheesecake is really nice! It is not a "cozy" restaurant - very bright and high ceilings make it feel "busy". The portions are huge here. I can make a meal out of an appetizer salad. Fried macaroni and cheese balls sounded very odd but are really tasty! A slice of cheesecake can easily be split 3 ways after eating such a large meal. It is amazing how many flavors of cheesecake they have available. more
