Recently we took our children to the zoo. They really enjoyed it. It is good to see how much better the zoo is looking. They have lots to offer. You can watch the animals being fed. They have a winged wondered bird show. You can ride a camel. They have a petting zoo. You can feed the giraffes. Or, if none of that interests you it would be fun just to walk around the zoo and look at the different animals and enjoy them. This is the best time of the year to go and see all the great animals. With this climate all of the animals are active and out in the open so you can see them. If you would like to have a wonderful family outing that will not break the bank the zoo is the way to go. more

Chaffee Zoo is a go! 9/29/2005

The Chaffee Zoo is a great place to go with the whole family. Weather you have very little ones, med sized ones, or even big ones......they should all enjoy it! This zoo has improved over the years, and will probably continue to grow. cant wait to see what the zoo wil become in another couple years. more

Who doesn't love the zoo 8/21/2005

People of all ages can always enjoy the zoo, it is just natural for us humans to be amazed with nature. In Fresno we just happen to have a great local zoo. The price of admission is not gonna break your wallet... not even for multiple people. Paying for things inside the zoo costs a bit more though. Not only do they have the typical zoo type attractions, the Chaffee Zoo has a great bird show and a huge amount of birds. The reptile area is also full of different snakes and things - I once saw a two headed snake, and it was pretty crazy. Anyways, the zoo is definitely a great place to visit, especially with kids. more
