""1/28/10 Every time I visit a colleague of mine in Mt. Airy, I take him to the Thailand Cafe. Today was our fourth time to dine in for lunch. Of all my visits, this was the only bad experience, and I can recommend that if u have a young blond waitress, do yourself a favor and just leave. Our waitress came over, no introduction, asked for drinks, came back, and returned to eating her own lunch. Finally, I was able to distract her from eating her own lunch, to take my order. The rice in the soup was mushy and soggy, I informed the waitress, she said nothing, as if not to even care. The entrees came, the cold uneaten bowls of soup remained. Halfway through the entree, i asked if she would take the soup bowls away, she took one, however forget to get the other and it stayed on the table until she hurried us to leave. Service was inexcusably unfriendly, unprofessional, and unfit for a two-bit diner, much less a Thai restaurant. I am disappointed to say, this was my last time at the Thailand Cafe, after having three wonderful previous experiences there. I suppose I will have to find another place to treat my colleague for lunch in Mt. Airy.""
