Good, but not Authentic 5/27/2011

I used to go there all the time when I was a kid, but ever since they merged with the Japanese sushi/hibachi place next door, the authenticity of the food went down. Though their business seemed to go up, the Thai side kinda washed away. The waiters are mostly Japanese too and the food is less spicy so it's not much of a Thai restaurant anymore. more

Worst Service Ever. 2/1/2009

Some of the worst service I have ever experienced. Had to get up and find the server in order to get check. After waiting for 25 minutes after meal was finished. Never came back after meal was brought to table. Tried to talk to the manager and he brushed me off and said can you wait a minute and 5 minutes later never came back. I plan on telling everyone I know that Thai peppers and the joint restaurant are horrible. The food was OK. Pros: Food OK Cons: Service horrible more

Great food saves the below par service. 12/28/2007

I honestly did not think I would find any restaurants that I would like around here. But I found it in Thai Pepper! \r This is traditional Thai food & they can make it as mild or spicy as you like. Just a heads up Thai Spicy is not regular American spicy, its super hot (I'm used to eating super extra spicy foods and my tongue was on fire.) My husband is very picky and really enjoyed this meal with only one complaint.......\r The service was questionable, they were watching survivor man skin some animal on tv as we were eating. We also saw all other tables getting hot towels and weren't offered anything like that. My husband said it's because they were all white & I'm of Asian origin! If you are looking for great Thai food (& don't mind average service) then this is the place. I can look past the below par service, only because of the food. Pros: Excellent Thai food Cons: Service isn't great more

Interesting mix of Thai & sushi with neither suffering in the bargain 2/22/2007

I went to this restaurant many years ago, and I was not at all impressed. Recently, though, I decided to try it again, and I was not disappointed. The sushi was very fresh and tasted great. The Thai food was awesome - very tasty. We had the red curry and a tofu dish which were both very tasty. The service was a little slow, but they were busy, and the server was very friendly. My only complaint is that the other patrons were super loud. Pros: Great food, fresh sushi Cons: loud more

great food, appalling service and the servers accost you if you tip poorly and demand more money 2/20/2007

this is my husband and my local thai restaurant, we have eaten there many times, the food cannot be faulted its delicious. Price for a thai red curry is $11 which can be served mild, medium, hot, thai hot, and super thai hot. \r \r tonight (a tuesday evening at 6pm) the restaurant was packed and service took a deep plummet, it took 2 hours to get through 2 courses, (appetizer and entree) my water ran out constantly and I had to wait 10 to 15 mins for it to be replenished (and I was eating a HOT curry so needed the water) after being given the check we put cash in the folder and waited a full 25 minutes for the server to collect, we tipped 10% as we felt the service very poor this evening, normally we tip 15 (we are poor students) just as we were leaving the waitress accosted my husband and demanded to know why we tipped less than 15% and asked for more money.\r \r He gave it but suffice to say we will never eat there again (a shame seeing as food is great). my recommendation if you are considering eating there, make sure you don't tip less than 15% if you don't want the waitress complaining as you leave. Pros: unlimited parking outside, great food, great price Cons: awful service, servers demand more money if you tip poorly more
