Once was enough 3/29/2009

I eat Thai a lot, around Cleveland and on the west coast. My favorite dish is panang beef and everyone does it a little differently. I don't eat brocoli, so usually I eat the beef, leave the brocoli, and take the remaining sauce home to flavor some chicken :-) Here there was so little meat it was rediculous. I asked about it, and they added more meat, and charged me for it. Pros: Tasty sauce for panang beef , convenient location Cons: Atmosphere, little meat in dishes more

A good Thai food place in Lakewood 7/16/2007

My hubby and I are complete foodie's. We like trying new cuisines. We were looking for something in Lakewood, OH, where we live and we came across ""Thai Kitchen"". We were in two minds, whether to go there or not, as the place looked very small. But the decision of going and trying the food there was completely worth it. We simply loved the food! It is very delicious and it gives a ""home cooked meal"" kinda taste too. Though a small place, you get a pretty good list of stuffs to try from. more

Wow, what am I missing??? 3/27/2006

I read the other reviews of this place and I don't get what I'm missing! A former Chicagoan, I cleaned out the Thai scene there with great bliss. I come to Cleve, visit Thai Kitchen on countless recommendations, and I was quite disappointed. Muddy, mushy red curry with basically frozen bag veggies in it, served on cold rice. I'm no stranger to holes in the wall, and I have no problem with that, but the food just wasn't up to what I was led to believe. I will revisit based on other reviews, but I'm pretty baffled. So future diners, be aware of a possible inconsistency or something. I hope I'm wrong. more

So authentic, so tasty, so happy. 12/16/2005

I honestly believe the only other places you can only find Thai that tastes this good in New York, Los Angeles, and Thailand. Who would have thought that Lakewood, Ohio could land a place like this? The owners are there to please and will make your food to order (if you're picky about the way you like your Thai food), but I think if you just leave it up to them to do what they do best you will not be disappointed. Recommended dishes: Chicken Satay, Tom Kar Gai, Pad Thai. There aren't too many places to go with three friends for spectacular cuisine that won't break your bank. Pros: Food, Service, Owners Cons: Not open 24 hours :) more

Great food, Great Service! 1/17/2005

We dined here last weekend and were very impressed. While the restaurant is not flashy or trendy by any means (it looks like a hole in a wall, dive restaurant and only has a handful of tables for 2), the food and service are well worth a visit. Each dish is prepared to the guests request (the hot is HOT!). We will definitely be back! Pros: Good food, Good Service, Made to order more
