Worst

People in Baltimore must not know what a good restaurant is. The Roadhouse is decent, for what it is.

NOISY AS HECK 11/7/2008

First off, I haven't eaten at this location...but it's a chain. Best ""chain"" steak, however, that I've ever had (in PA near Indiantown Gap.) It's not frozen, you can select your steak..go for the delicious ribeye. Pros: GREAT handcut, non-frozen steaks (you can even choose your own) Cons: NOISY atmosphere more

First Time visit 5/26/2006

This was my family's first time visit. It came highly recommended by family in other states. The waiter was extremely helpful and the service was excellent! Thanks Steve! We went on a Friday evening a little before 6pm and there was a very little wait. The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly. My family and I will definitely return again in the future. Pros: Reasonable prices, Courteous, Friendly Cons: Parking more

My Favorite!! 1/23/2006

Texas Roadhouse is my all time favorite place to go. Their steaks are cooked to perfections and their rolls are very delicious. The service is friendly and the atmosphere goes well with the food. Pros: good steaks, fresh rolls, friendly service Cons: very busy on weekends more

STEAK BABY 12/9/2005

If you want great food, great portions, and an affordable meal this is the place to go. I was amazed. This was one of the best steaks I've ever had. The rolls are ssoooo fresh. Out of the oven and on your table in seconds. There are also peanuts to munch on if you have to wait for a seat. The service was fast, attentive and very friendly. Get everything you want at the Roadhouse. Pros: great_food, great_service, nice_atmosphere more

Great Value! Great Food! 10/3/2005

My family has been dining at Texas Roadhouse for years and we go often. I don't mind waiting for my food because they have peanuts to munch on and when you get to the table they bring you unlimited rolls and butter. The rolls are so soft and hot and the butter...you'll want to take it home (it's that good) I recommend calling ahead the place gets packed, especially on Fri. and Sat. nights. The service is excellent and the food is a great value. You get a lot of good food for your money. I always have lunch for the next day. By far better than Outback!!! Pros: Inexpensive, Great Service, Excellent Food Cons: Crowded, Call Ahead more

Cold Steak but Warm Service 7/18/2004

Went based on other reviews on this site and location near home. Prices are much more reasonable than Outback, but we did not receive the stellar meal others site. The place was PACKED, which should be a good sign, but it made service unacceptably slow. I ordered a med-well sirloin - received a well done, barely warm, & very dry steak. Overcooked green beans. Seasoned rice is more like chinese fried rice. Husband had terrific steak tips and flavorful mashed potatoes (that were served cold). Greasy but acceptable fries. Hot rolls and sweet-butter were doughy but great. Service was the best. Spunky and friendly. We hope this experience was an off night and are willing to try again. Additionally, a young couple should not be seated in the midst of several families with screaming kids. Would have preferred to have sat in a two person ""adult"" booth. Pros: Affordable, Friendly, Popular with locals Cons: , Cold Food, Overcooked more

LOVE IT! 7/13/2004

Everything is above average here for service, food, drink, service, etc. Below average are the fantastic prices! Love ""Outback"", but it can't compete when it comes to value for your money. The rolls and honey butter are over-the-top. Pros: Tender & great ribs, Great prices, Fun atmosphere more

Trish 3/11/2004

Texas Roadhouse should be #1. Its affordable for the everyday person! Ruth Crisp is way out of most of our price ranges except for special occasions Pros: Inexpensive, Great Food Cons: , always crowded more

#1 3/9/2004

The Prime rib is is great; the service is quick and the staff is polite. Loved the hot bread. Pros: peanuts, prime rib more

Great steaks 10/8/2003

By far the best steak outside of the expensive Ruth's Chris. I totally enjoyed it. Pros: the steaks, the service, the peanuts Cons: the country music more

No wait 7/15/2003

Ever since the Outback opened in Glen Burnie this place has sat almost empty- do yourself a favor- skip the 3 hour Outback wait and head straight down 100 to Texas Roadhouse- I have never had a bad meal or bad service and will gladly drive the 10 extra minutes so I do not have to wait for hours. I even called ahead at Outback to put my name on the list and had a 45 minute wait when I got there at my appointed time. I do not recommend bringing a child that needs a highchair- only a few tables can accomodate a high chair. more

The best steak and rib joint 1/3/2003

This is a great place to dine in or take out. The food is great! You wont go home hungry or broke. The deserts are also wonderful. The ribs are to die for. Pros: Wonerful food, Inexpensive, Dine in or take out Cons: Parking, Traffic, Waiting time more

Great Ribs 1/3/2003

Not fancy but excellent food, service and fair prices. Every time that I've been there, if there was a wait, the actual waiting time was under what the hostess said it would be. Also, peanuts provided to snack on while waiting. Service excellent. If I had to wair more than 5 minutes i was given a free salad to make up for it. Ribs are fantastic. Pros: Excellent ribs, fair price, minimal wait Cons: Noisey more

Just another chain 12/19/2002

People in Baltimore must not know what a good restaurant is. The Roadhouse is decent, for what it is. more

value 12/4/2002

Texas Roadhouse is a much better value than Lonestar and Outback. The portions are larger and the prices are much better. There is always a wait, but the time goes by fast with good company and a bucket of peanuts and a beer. Pros: selection, value, service Cons: crowded, crowded, crowded more

Great Food 10/25/2002

Great steaks, best service. Don't miss this place. Only problem they need to be closer to my area(Frederick). Pros: Food, Service, Selection Cons: Location more

Round em up cowboy 10/24/2002

I have had the pleasure of eating at the Texas Roadhouse several times. The service has always been fast and friendly. The Buttered rolls and honey butter are almost as good as the steaks. I would highly recomend it. If there is a drawback, get there early, as parking is always tight Pros: Good Value, Good service, Comfortable atmospher Cons: Crowded parking more

Alluring, delectable dinning 7/25/2002

This is a place that has good food, friendly employees, and a nice atmosphere. There is nothing that can compare to their scrumptous hot rolls and honey-butter. Their steaks are mouth-watering juicy and tender. The Salmon is so tasty and sweet. My only complaint is the desserts, nothing like they advertise!!! A big disappointment with the desserts. Pros: service, good parking Cons: desserts more
