Because of the rating and reviews my husband and I decided to try Texas Land & Cattle (we're new to Texas). We were seated immediately, which was nice, but it ended there. I ordered the sirloin and lobster. I know that sirloins aren't the best cut of meat, but I order them everywhere I go. This sirloin was mostly fat. I could barely cut it. The lobster was okay. Not the best I've ever had, but it was tasty. My husband had a filet that was good, but not impressive. There was a very large party that continued to scream throughout our entire meal. I know that isn't the restaurant's fault, but they could have asked them to quiet down. My 4 month old generally sleeps through our meals, but every time these people screamed, so did he, so we ate and left as quickly as possible. We'll stick to Salt Grass for our steaks from now on.
Pros: A nice restaurant, well decorated, excellent service
Cons: Loud, steak wasn't very good.
