My boyfriend & I have visited this restaurant twice--once on a Sunday afternoon, once on a Friday night. The first visit, the food seemed pretty delicious & the margaritas strong. Two in the afternoon & I was ready to call it a day! The restaurant was fairly busy w/ a big Mexican crowd, indicating its authentic cuisine. I was a bit surprised by the $70 tab for a Sunday lunch for two unfortunately. :( The second visit, the restaurant was pretty packed. The mariachi band was loud & attentive to the patrons. They were pretty enjoyable (as long as they didn't come to our table!!!) ;) The food & drink were out quickly once we ordered, but the mystery meat-quality of my meal was a turn off & the margaritas, while strong, were strong w/ REALLY cheap tequila. Originally, I liked their margaritas, but sometimes more tequila isn't better when it's bad tequila. After a similar costing tab, my boyfriend & I agreed that cost-wise we'll probably go elsewhere from now on. If it were in a different price point, we'd be willing to frequent this restaurant again, but I think it might be time to find a new Mexican restaurant. Beans, rice, tortillas,...(Mexican ingredients) that their dishes consist of aren't as pricey as their menu prices suggest. I LOVE Mexican food b/c it's cheap & inxpensive. For the location, this place has ritzier xpectations of itself than it really delivers. Even tho' we didn't use the service, I was impressed that they offer valet parking svc.
Pros: Valet Parking, Strong Margaritas
Cons: House Margaritas Ridden w/ Cheap Tequila, Over-Priced Fare
