4-16-19/Tuesday Randy Newark performed our annual A/C Preventative Maintenance Program. Very Thorough Job. Here about 2.5 hours. Took off outside A/C Metal covers and cleaned our A/C Coils with a hose. They had obtained a lot of Debris/Dirt from Texas wind blowing over Mulch inner shrub bed. I am sure that helped the efficiency of my A/C Compressor. We have had our A/C Lennox High Effiecincy Unit now for 7 years (built this new Drees home in 2012). Randy discovered a Capacitor that controls the A/C Fan and Compressor was 5-7% below normal efficiency. He said he could not determine when it could reach the critical 10% below normal capacity where the unit would not function correctly. He said it may last until next A/C check in 2020. But if that Capacitor went out between now and then it would cost us an extra call out fee of $79 (that is reduced only because of us being on an Annual Preventative Maintenance Program). Also I get about a $30 discount on the part for the same reason. So we decided to Replace the Capacitor for the reduced cost benefit, for peace of mind and to allow our A/C to operate more efficiently. Randy checked on our Coil in the attic and to make sure everything was operating efficiently in that location. I got a copy of all the checklist items performed along with certain specifications maintained He took photos of the A/C coils before he cleaned them and afterwards. My wife and I appreciate the diligent work performed on our A/C giving it a clean bill of health to perform efficiently. Five Stars to Randy! Thanks!!!! more

Randy came to our house to do a spring AC tune up, he also checked the heat, he took his time to explain what he was doing. We had a problem when the ac would kick on it would dim the lights slightly, after Randy inspected our unit and tightened some loose wires, the dimming went away. Randy also told us prices for services we may need down the road. It was much appreciated more

We (wife & I) built a Drees home in McKinney, Tx in April of 2012. Fully moved in the house to be with Children/Grandchildren after retiring from North Carolina October 2013. A Lennox HVAC was installed by Tempo Mechanical Services. I continued service with them by purchasing their Spring & Fall Preventative Maintenance Program where a Tech makes sure our equipment is always operating at Optimum Level. I had been using Mike Maestas since starting this process. He was sick when my scheduled date for service arrived. I asked him to recommend somebody for me since he was unavailable until 12-31-18. He recommended Randy Newkirk who has exceptional ratings like Mike. Randy has nearly 30 years experience with Tempo. He is very intelligent and has excellent knowledge of HVAC systems.He explained everything he did in laymen terms that I could understand.Since I am disabled I asked if he would change my Air Filter in the attic if needed (I had extra next to the Furnace). He also changed out my batteries to my 5 fire alarms in the 10 ft ceilings. Mike Maestas use to do this annually for me. I discovered Randy is a strong family man. Randy has been our HVAC technician (by request) from Tempo Mechanical Services for several years now. Randy is always on time unless his prior jobs have run over the alotted time frame, and if that happens he will courteously contact you to let you know when he'll be there. He is very polite and courteous, but most importantly he's professional and knowledgeable in his field. Tempo provides great service by professional technicians, and we would recommend Randy every day of the week and twice on Sunday.
