Their Customer Service is terrible. I have never been able to get a live person on the phone. I always leave a voicemail and I would say I have only received a call back about 10%...

Their Customer Service is terrible. I have never been able to get a live person on the phone. I always leave a voicemail and I would say I have only received a call back about 10% of the time. My emails to various departments have gone unanswered as well. I canceled service a year ago and received confirmation that they received my cancellation. However, after a full year of calling and email to ask why I was continuing to receive bills I finally got a call back....from the collections department! There was no notation that our account had been canceled. I forwarded the email confirmation I received to the collections manager and she canceled the account but only as of last November. So now I have to pay approximately $2,000 for a service I was told was canceled and never even used over the past year. Do not use this company!!!!!!!! more

Televox is a scam 3/16/2010

I own an orthodontic practice of 20 years and have never encountered more poor levels of customer service, lack of design ability for website, lack of professionalism, and failure to meet the advertised or contracted agreements they promised. There was nothing ""custom design"" about their template based sites, they continually say ""NO"" they cant do this, that and the other. Yet fully expect me to pay for their full service even when they did not complete the project or launch it. We went through 4 people in the company and each one promised to be better than the last and in the end NOTHING changed. They will tried to pigeon me into a contract agreement without giving me their full service agreements. There is no follow up by their account representatives or even their design division. I would NEVER recommend this to any of my colleagues or anyone for that matter to Televox. Things to be aware of: - Template based design - I was essentially the one designing the site with limited choices; why did I pay them again? - You do not own the site 100%. If you leave them at the end of contract they will strip your site of content and leave you with a shell. - The content they use is all identical communication to all of their other accounts - Their talking boxes are from 2005 and completely out dated content - Do not like and do not have the ability to embed anything into your site other than photos or text - Requests for changes or updates: they will 80% say they cant do it or do a crap version of the request - Lead me to think they are on top of things and want to work with my by the use of their ""sweet southern accents"" when in fact they dont have a clue, will gave me the run around, 'let me get back to you bc I need to find out', 'oh, I have to ask bc Im not sure', 'oh, we cant do that.' but yet they did it on someone else's site. - I never hear from my Local Account Representative after I signed your agreement in total $11,000 - They will promise me they will get me the ""BEST"" and ""TOP"" web designer they have when I threaten to leave or break contract - when in fact they should have done so from the beginning. Essentially admitting they gave me a mediocre or junior designer and not a professional one this entire time. - And after all that: they will demand me pay them for their incomplete and horrific service. I would NOT WORK WITH, RECOMMEND, SIGN ANY AGREEMENT, Or USE TELEVOX ever again..... Cons: No customer service. Lie to you and hold you to the contract more

House calls by Televox is a bad joke. The company is unwilling to service it and is incompetently run. 12/1/2008

House Calls is a very poor product. Zero support and service. Televox sent a technician that knew nothing about installing its product at our site. He spent 4 hours on the phone asking rudimentary questions about how to install. We have had nothing but trouble since we bought the program. We have gone back to paying employees to manually call every patient, which is the primary reason we bought the software. I have a paperless office with high technology throughout. This is the single worst investment I've ever made. Do NOT buy Televox based on their sales pitch. It's a lie. We've never had a problem solved easily or courteously in 3 years. more

TELEVOX INC. IS A NIGHTMARE OF A COMPANY!!! 11/21/2008

Consumers, especially orthodontists be aware of Televox. We are a premeir orthodontic practice who had contractedd Televox to design our websites. It has been one of the most negative experiences we have ever had in our 15 years of practice. The company has had major internal adminstrative issues and was purchased by a company called West Corp., who knows nothing in about the dental industry. They are difficult to communicate with and have zero customer service. If you have any other options for webdesign and patient communication software, we strongly recommend that you stay away from Televox. Cons: Zero customer service. Will lie to earn your business, once you sign the contract you are on your own. more
