Editorial review from Citysearch 5/22/2013

I called to make an appointment and inquired as to how the process works for new customers, and that i had a referral from the ER. The girl who answered the phone acted like I interrupted her in the middle of watching Maury Pauvich....She continued to ask me questions about a car accident which is beside the point because I pay cash. Instead of listening to me and comprehending my situation, she remained condescending, rude, and snarky. I would never go here for treatment.... more

Helpful, Knowledgable, and Friendly 4/9/2011

They aren't on Glisan! They are on 108th and Stark. The employees at Gateway Sports Medicine are friendly. They are always welcoming new patients and don't mind taking the non-insured. The paperwork required is minimal which makes the visit expedient. I very much recommend this clinic. more

Highly Recommend/Very Knowledgeable/Professional 4/7/2011

Wonderful people, Great treatment and great customer service. They also do all the research with your insurance company to see what is covered and what is not. GREAT SERVICE for those of us that don't understand how our insurance works.\r \r I suffer from Migraines and they always get me in to get a adjustment to relieve the headache.\r \r Office very clean and tidy...and they have great equipment and keep it current. \r \r They offer PT, Massage, Chiro, Acupucture...\r \r more

Best PT Clinic I have been to in Portland 4/6/2011

Being somewhat injury prone, achy, and break-y, I have had occasion to visit a few different PT Clinics in Portland. I won't go into the others here, as this is a review of Gateway. I started attending to get PT for an ankle injury, and back pain. Since first arriving I was impressed with the knowledge and professionalism of staff there. But what makes it such a great place to go, other than that, is the carefree, casual atmosphere. Staff are friendly, courteous, and know what they're doing. They take a real interest in your recovery. Highly recommended, and by far the best Clinic I have been to in the Portland area. You can get PT here, massage, acupuncture, and chiropractic work, all in-house. They are very accommodating with scheduling, and make you feel welcome from the get-go. more

Complete Care Clinic 3/4/2011

I was rearended in a car accident 2 years ago. Everyone at this clinic is professional, caring and knowledgeable. They not only helped me reduce my pain levels but discussed posture, proper technique for computer work and other activities I had to stop due to the accident. They helped me regain mobility, range of motion and add back in many of the activities the accident interfered with.\r The chiropractic, massage, physical therapy and acupuncure I highly recommend. I have been many places over the years and Gateway is the best! The acupuncture (I had never done it before) is great for long term maintence and care. more

Gateway Sports Medicine 2/26/2011

I have had physical therapy at a few different places over the years and Gateway is the best of all of them. The staff is friendly and professional whenever I go there. Dianne is always smiling when I come in and greets me imediatley. She makes me feel at home whenever I come in. The physical therapist are all very professsional and caring while treating me. Kate ,Nina Lindsley and Randy are the best physical therapist I have ever gone too. The physical therapy assistance are also very good and have provided me with much pain relief with their care. . I am not good with names so unable to mention them. I would highly recomend Gateway Sports Medicine to my friends and family. more

Professional Attentive Care 10/5/2010

I've suffered chronic back pain for many years and had seen many western doctors, a chiropractor and physical therapist in the past, all of whom did very little for me. Then I tried Gateway. The practitioners here are very attentive. They listened carefully to my problems and worked with me to establish a personal approach to my problem, and I'm feeling better. I still have a long way to go, but I trust Gateway can continue helping me to get there. The staff are amiable and the place has a professional but family-style atmosphere. It is clean and well organized and I especially like that when I make an appointment for 2:00, it starts at 2:00. There is no waiting around, and my time is money, so I really appreciate that. I sense the staff are well trained and care about what they do. I definitely recommend them. more

Very friendly and professional work environment 10/5/2010

I have worked in two other rehabilitative offices with chiropractors and physical therapists and I like working here at Gateway the best. I am treated fairly and kindly by everyone that I work with. Everyone seemingly enjoys working here and most have been here for a while. I am treated with respect and not overworked. I look forward to going to work. more

Knowledgeable and helpful staff 9/29/2010

Kate and Nina are both very knowledgeable physical therapists. They have a variety of talented massage therapists and a fun chiropractor, plus an acupuncturist. I've never heard anything negative about this place and I've been there for several injuries over the past 5 years, so since I keep coming back, I see no reason why you wouldn't too! more

Caring therapists with great skills 9/22/2010

I underwent knee surgery for an accident that happened while at work. The therapists at Gateway Sports Medicine took care of me getting me strong before surgery, and back on my feet right after surgery.\r \r Because my claim was work comp, I hit some road blocks with my insurance authorizing treatments. My physical therapists was my number one supporter and helped me get the treatment that I needed. When the insurance companies drug their feet, she was able to keep the ball rolling so there was not a break in my care. \r \r I would send all my friends and family to Gateway for any aches, pains, injuries and adjustments! They truely care and treat you like family. more
