Awesome on short notice and price is reasonable! 3/29/2012

They were great. We have been going to our vet for many years. One day our little Yorkie wasn't feeling very good and our vet was all booked up. We called Animal Crackers and they were able to fit her in within the hour. They gave her some medicine and it worked out great. Also, when I was calling around for puppy teeth extraction they were one of the cheapest. We ended up going with our regular vet because the cost was comparable. Some vets were going to charge $300+ dollars and they were less than $100 if I remember right.. Vet was very nice. There was a little wait to see him but it was better than waiting till the following week for our vet. more

Wonderful Clinic 1/9/2011

If you've ever gone anywhere else to have your pet treated, you would run...not walk to Animal Crackers. Without the excellent service of Animal Crackers and the amazing caring doctors, my pet would have died. I could not afford the medical care he needed at other clinics. At Animal Crackers, they believe in affordable medical care for all pets...which is probably why some of you say you are irritated with the service. They run on a budget ...so if the staff doesn't treat you like royalty it is probably because they are overloaded with clients. For example, my dog needed to stay over night with an IV. At another clinic this would run about 100.00 dollars. At Animal Crackers, I paid about 20 dollars. Yes, it is a no frills and a busy place, but if you are like me and would rather have your pet treated affordabley, you will not worry about your ego. I will never go anywhere else. God Bless Dr. Taylor and Animal Crackers! more

Very pleased with a great Vet. 11/18/2010

Brought my dog in with an eye abscess after the mail man peppered him down. No appointment. I just needed to have the eye checked. Dr. Taylor is quiet, calm and reassured me that the dog would be ok. He gave me free samples to help with the cost and then charged $30.00 for two visits. The docs at Animal Crackers do this because they love animals and people. They don't have big boats in Lake Powell or big BMWs to pay off. The office staff have always been helpful and friendly. This Clinic gets 5 Stars. more

Animal Crackers 11/16/2009

We had a 9 AM appointment, got there early and ended up waiting until 9:30 to get a room. While in the waiting room the receptionists were bad mouthing any customers that called in. There were 4 of us waiting, and we all were able to hear the ladies talking about how dumb the customers were for asking their questions. Once I got in a room the Vet took forever to get in and then acted like he didn't know what he was doing. We were there to get my dogs anal glands squeezed and he spent 5 minutes inside her while she was screaming. It was an awful experience and I encourage all to spend $10 extra and go somewhere where you are valued!! Pros: Cheap Cons: Rude, Mean, and disrespectful!! more

Animal Crackers Veterinary 7/19/2008

Dr. Taylor at animal Crackers Veterinary is the greatest! We have taken our dogs there several times for different ailments and had the greatest experience. We walked in once with one of our dogs who had a horrible rash all over her ears and belly. Dr. Taylor walked in and right away said she has allergies. We had no idea that dogs could get allergies. He spent the next 20 minutes discussing the commonality of pet allergies and how to treat them at home to avoid the vet visit. How many vets would talk to you about how to avoid them?! Dr. Taylor cares about your pet, your time and the expenses of caring for your pet! Pros: able to get pets in quickly, Saturday appointments available, great vets! Cons: No seperate waiting area for cats and dogs more

Loved it! 6/13/2008

I cannot say enough good things about Animal Crackers. Two years ago my dog had to be put down, it was the hardest thing ever for me, the staff at Animal Crackers was very caring towards me and my very sick dog. They made a sad situation bareable! They even went as far as sending me a sympathy card! Then I got two new puppies. Took them in for their first shots and check up, the doctor was wonderful, he treated my puppies as if they were his own, the staff gave me a new puppy packet which gave me the information on the shots and when to get them. Then I got myself yet another puppy, I just took her in two weeks ago for her first shots and I was given the same excellent service as always. I could not be more happier with a Vet. Thank you staff at Animal Crackers!!! more

Bad service 3/29/2008

Yesterday, I went in to drop my dog off to get neutered. When I showed up there was a customer at the desk, I stood behind her about 5 min. when another customer showed up walked up to the desk and was immediately helped(no one asked who was next) so I waited another couple minutes. Then left my puppy told to pick him up between 4p.m. and 4:30p.m. At 4:15 my other dog was scheduled to come in. At 3:20 received a call to come pick up puppy, told them about other appointment at 4:15 I was told no problem just come now, so I did when I got there I heard my puppy whinning in the back and was told to have a seat and wait. Meanwhile my other dog was very uncontrolable and barking, so I asked if I could get my puppy so he would calm a little, I was told I would have to wait since the doctor likes to bring the puppy to you. About 5 minutes later the receptionist the went back(I guess she was getting tired of whinnning dogs too)and brought me my puppy. I sat in the waiting room(which was very hot, many of the people there were complaining also) til 4:35 twenty minutes after original appoinment(65 minutes after I arrived). I then went in the room and waited(super hot by this time) another 30 minutes til I had enough and then decided to leave. So I went into the reception area to pay my bill for my puppy(which I was never told what to do with him after his surgery)But when I got there had to wait another 5 minutes, with many workers justing standing around, I received a call from my child(who needed me) and left without paying. Which I called right after many times, all of which got a busy signal(very common here). Won't go back but will pay my bill if I can ever get in touch with anyone there. Was very disappointed. more

Dogs are family members 8/22/2007

I dont want to give any bad reviews but just wanted to say that I am not at all satisfied with the overall services. I dont doubts doctors coz they are very good but overall managing the Animal cracker is really cracked. My dog is only 6 months old and he is like my other family members. I do expect a timely response from his hospital regarding his drugs, injections, medicine, checkups and etc etc. I have to personally remembering about his shots, call them many times to know if any of his shot is due and.... oh yeah!!!.. his shot was due 2 weeks back and u missed it.. I mean its the hospital`s responsibility for letting us know or at least give us a Chart saying about dates. But NO .. there is nothing like that here and Finally after feeling myself worst and looking at that cute dogs face and getting tense about his future, I changed the hospital and feeling more relieved about it. \r \r My only advice for them is that ..Treat patients like human beings and not like aliens.\r \r Thank you. more
