After much frustration working with CPA’s and getting half answers, miss-direction, and lack of follow through I have recently changed to a new accounting resource, his name is David Fruchter of Tax Advisors of Cary. I have found him to be most helpful. Unlike some of my experience with accounting David is knowledgeable, insightful and has great follow through. I am a U.S. Citizen who lives abroad and works there for an MNC. David used to do my taxes while I was living and working in the U.S. until a year ago. He continues to do my taxes now. Last year in addition to the complication of moving abroad, I was a contract employee, had stock transactions, dividends to report, a company that changed hands, International bank accounts to start and report, funds to invest or not invest in, companies to start or not start, etc. etc. etc. My life would have been a living hell of tax research, paper work, delayed payments and penalties had it not been for David. He has given me advice, saved me money, done my taxes, taken care of paper work, received my paper work and held on to them safely, reminded me of Federal tax deadlines, self-employment taxes to be paid, etc. etc. etc. Not to mention a whole lot of patient answers to all the dumb questions I have thrown his way. \r \r I will continue to use his services this year. Since I switched from contract employment to full time status this year, life is going to be a tad easier for me (and him). But, it is simply worth my time to leave all this to David. David Fruchter has been preparing my taxes for four years. I find his tax organizer system to be helpful, it makes my gathering information easier and saves me time. I’ve had several accountants over the years and problems with each, one who made an error and charged me to prepare an amended return. The one I was happy with moved away.
