The craziest place I have seen so far...\r Was this a specific party day? \r People dancing on the tables, even waiters and waitress, this was not what i was expecting to be, but i enjoyed.\r Eclectic music, food was good.\r Surprised at the beginning but happy at the end. more

Tasty Greek food! 7/6/2010

Yum! Taverna Opa's portions are very generous and the server I had was quite pleasant. The tzatziki was garlicy and delicious and the saganaki was quite flamboyant. Once the dancing kicked in it was even more fun! Pros: Friendly servers, delicious food Cons: Loud music more

Having been to Greece 3 times, I would have to say the food here is a far cry from authentic. The chicken was dry and overseasoned. The salad was just wrong, and the Tzatziki was loaded with garlic. Pros: ? Cons: Not very tasty more

Taverna Opa has good food. Nothing scary. 6/28/2009

I went during lunch after a meeting and the music was pretty quiet and traditional so there was no wild dancing for us but it was nice. Our waiter explained everything to my buddies and I. He really took the time to help us figure out what we'd like. We ended up doing sample platters and everything was pretty good. You could tell the stuff was fresh. more

Want to party? 1/25/2009

Visited Opa for the first time with a group of friends.\r What an experience!\r The food was very good. I would recommend ordering off the a la carte menu instead of the offered group dishes, as they can be a bit pricey; It was ok for the first time, but after you know what you like, just order those items.\r Entertainment throughout the night.\r Enjoyed dancing Zorba The Greek around the restaurant and, yes, I danced on a table as well. more

Great Atmosphere! 11/23/2008

This restaurant is great for a theme like a bridal shower or a birthday party. I would suggest it for a large group. The music is great and service is wonderful. I would not go for just the food, though. The food was good, but I have had better Greek food in Orlando. more

Best Steak & Seafood in ORLANDO 11/16/2008

Walking by I see dancing and napkins in the air I say to myself this has got to be a fun place!!! Thinking just fun I was highly mistaken the food at this Greek restaurant was authentic and fantastic. I had a dish that was filled with different seafood like (shrimp, scallops, lobster tail ect..) and my friend had the Greek style beef tenderloins and it was to die for!!! I never would have imagined a place could be so much fun and have amazing food as well. The funny thing was I had no idea that it was going to be this good!! Pros: Great FOOD and FUN Cons: NONE! more

FUN FUN AND MORE FUN 11/16/2008

The first time we went to Opa we were on our way to see Mamma Mia. Had we not purchased our movie tickets we probably would have just stayed. Instead we went to the movie and then returned after the movie for a snack. George & James could not have been more gracious to us. Intially, George recommended several items - all of which we enjoyed. We have been back several times and always have a great time. George always makes us feel welcome. I highly recommend Opa if you are willing to experience new food and make new friends. Pros: Ambience Cons: none more

so so 11/12/2008

This place is so so. I'm nto a fan of this type of food which is way I didn't really like it. But everyone else in my party really enjoyed it and felt it was good. more

Exciting! 10/19/2008

First and foremost, if your not open minded and loud music bothers you this place is not for you. The place was very exciting the food was delicious and the total atompshere was fun. There were belly dancers and everyone dancing on your table, music was nice. The only bad thing which isn't that bad there is so much going on that when your ready to go, it does take awhile. But overall, my waitress was awesome the place was fun and the food was great. Pros: atmosphere,food,entertainment.. more

Great food and fun! 5/5/2008

Great atmosphere! If you want to have a fun and entertaining time, not just a quiet boring meal, this is the place. I went with a large group and everyone loved the food. In fact, the trip to Taverna Opa was the highlight of our 3-day business conference. They got most of us up dancing around the room before the food even came. The belly dancer was fun to watch; she performed about half the time that we were there. I thought the prices were very reasonable considering there was no need to order an appetizer. Most meals range from high teens to low 20's. I can?t wait to take my family to Taverna Opa on our next trip to Orlando. more

Greek Hot Spot 4/9/2008

Great service i felt like i was family, this Greek restaurant really dots all the i's and crosses all the t's. Professional and fun mixed in one, almost impossible to find in Orlando. The music is fantastic all the Greek- International tunes as well as the food we were dancing all night long. I had a seafood platter and my friend had the lamb chops. Both mouth watering and fantastic. Ill never forget this restaurant the great time i had so far has been unmatchable. So easy to get there as well parking was easy to i feel safe leaving my car in a garage. Pros: Great Food and Fun Cons: Wish it was bigger so that more people could go. more

Just ok 4/2/2008

The food was ok - nothing great and the service was pretty slow. The music was good but a little loud, but that's to be expected for the bar type restaraunt. I'd probably not go back because there are other Greek restaraunts in town that have better food and service. They will validate your parking, so that's a plus. Pros: Music, Belly dancer Cons: Parking, service more
