I wish Vail would serve food late. The Tap Room at least will serve right up until 10 p.m. and they have a fairly large menu. Unfortunately, there isn't much exciting on it. And snacks- could they have any bar snacks when the kitchen is closed? Popcorn? Some kind of chips? This is a sports bar/pick-up place and the service is very decent but between the smoking on the balcony (it's not anywhere near far enough away from the entrance) and the sight of drunken 20-somethings trolling for dates, it's not the most romantic or pleasant place to come after a festival performance. But it's all Vail's got.
