Because this neighborhood (Daly City) has very few good restaurants I have been to this place in person about 4 times and ordered food to go about 3 times. Each of the times when my wife (who has problems with her stomach) asked for NOT spicy, they consistently made it very spicy. The food here usually is mediocre, but they make it fast. Usually they have very poor English at this place and you have to repeat things very slowly several times. I think they had a change of ownership or some stuff had changed because now they hardly understand any English at all. Today, it took me over 15 mins on the phone to make 2 orders. I asked for Mandarin Shrimp and Asparagus Prawns and all of this was suppose to be not spicy, I repeated 3 times. An hour later they delivered the food and Asparagus Prawns, that were for my wife were pretty darn spicy, I could even see little red chili peppers in it. Mandarin Shrimp on the other hand was not spicy, but it tasted awful. The bread was extra dry and the shrimp seemed really old, I wonder if they prepared it before and just microwaved it for me. I don?t usually like to complain about my food, but this time it was a bit over the line since I clearly asked for prawns to be not spicy, and I was on the verge of ordering from a different place 2nd time in the evening. After about 4 conversations with different people at the restaurant and eventually they told me that I lie and the food is not spicy and they will not reimburse me. When I told her that she is losing me as a customer she hung up the phone on me. Not only this place doesn?t have good food, they don?t have good service either.
