I finally found the best sushi place is Berkeley! They offer dozens of rolls, including a good selection of vegetarian choices and tasty appetizers. Not only is the food delicious...

Sushi On Telegraph 3/20/2006

I love this place because it is right there. It is right in the middle of everything, so there can be no excuse not to drop by and spend a few bucks on a meal (maybe a little more). The funny thing about this place is how the people who make the sushi are not Japanese, not that it matters since I am eating it and I am not Japanese. The food is good the service is not bad. There usually is no wait for a table and did I mention that the food is good? They do take out and you can order a lot of California rolls from them on your special club event or whatnot. more

Cheap and Fast Sushi 3/15/2006

Sushi is great and if you live close to campus, Tako Sushi is probably the best place to get some. It's not the greatest sushi in the world, but it's really decently priced and they make it very quickly...Also, they have student specials. If you're not too pressed for time, you should really get the No Name Roll...it takes a while to make because they deep fry it, but I think it's worth it in the end. more

A must try! 9/28/2005

Tako Sushi is a must try! I highly recommend Tako Sushi if you love Japanese food. I have never taken much of a liking to miso soup, but I do like the miso soup at Tako Sushi. Of the many many times I have been to Tako Sushi, I've never left disappointed. You can't go wrong with sushi, and they don't disappoint. I even had my first raw fish at Tako Sushi. I was afraid of getting sick, but I didn't. Everything is clean. Very comfortable environment with cute painted walls. They have friendly service, and it's definitely a nice place to bring a date or friends. more
