I order from them a lot because they are close. The food is ok, but the NEVER send the freebie offerred in the coupons, and I will pad out my order to get it. Not happy about that... more

Closest to NYC style Chinese I've found in SF. The veggies are really fresh and not overcooked. Really lean meats. Great fried rice and dumplings. I also appreciate the way the food arrives really well packed, and piping hot, always on time. Great food, great service. more

Aweseom lettuce wraps! 6/21/2006

This is a great alternative to those lettuce wraps at that popular chinese chain restaurant. They're not as good, but they're pretty good. I always get the chicken lettuce wraps at Taipei without the pinenuts. Their chicken fried rice is the best I've had in the city and delivery is pretty prompt. Pros: good food, timely delivery more

Nice Family Restaurant 7/31/2004

I've just tried this new chinese restaurant called Taipei and it is one of the most friendly, family sytle restauraunts I've been to. The staff is very knowledgable about the cuisine and the dining area nicely decorated. The dining experience was pleasent with the layout of the tables and booths giving a nice intimate feeling. Parking is metered in front but plenty of free parking on the side. I'm a student at S.F.S.U and they even deliver to my dorms. I'm planning on having my graduation dinner in their upstairs banquet room. My girlfriend can not get enough of the food. They have lunch specials at student prices and a lunch card that you get your 10th special free. Good deal all around. Pros: Large Selection, Free Delivery, Plenty parking more

Great place 7/13/2004

Delicious Food, especially the Grilled Mango Chicken. I brought my mom in for Mother's Day and got her addicted to the food. It's the only chinese restaurant we go to now. Pros: Great Food, Staff is nice, Quiet Environment more
