Worst, worst, worst place you could ever go to. They treated me like nothing. They are not considerate of your pain level, discomfort or anything. I had to repeatedly ask to get my saliva suctioned while the procedure was going on. I'm sure if I had not asked I would have choked on my saliva. Dr .Dang, is the worst dentist.she rushed through my filling because she had another patient waiting. I should have said something but realizing that nobody gives a crap there, I just kept my mouth shut. Peak vista hires the worst employees ever. Being rude and inconsiderate must be a requirement to work there. Please do yourself a favor and do not go there! more

Peak Vista Dental 3/8/2012

I'm beginning to think Peak Vista (low-income health clinic here in CoSprings) is rather terrible. First off, their dental fees are equal to many other local dentistry offices in the area, and they DO NOT allow for payment plans. If you go in, expect to cough up the total amount right then and there! (They're also very rude and judgmental!) Second, it takes *well over a year* to become enrolled in their program, and if they call in a prescription for you then you still have to pick it up somewhere else (Wal*Mart, Walgreens) and pay full price! The only 'cheaper' aspect of Peak Vista is the actual appointment where the doctors look at your tongue and take your temperature! If you're a low-income to now-income college student, look elsewhere! Peak Vista does nothing but make you feel violated! more

Friendly staff, caring dentists 4/18/2010

I originally went to Peak Vista Family Dentistry because it was close to my home and was covered by my insurance. I have gone there for over 2 years now and couldn't be happier. They have state-of-the-art equipment, very friendly, helpful staff, and Dr Tafolla will make you smile with his light sense of humor. Even though being at the dentist is not on most people's favorite things to do list, this office is first rate when it comes to making you feel comfortable. They are great when it comes to my children too. While you're waiting you can enjoy a latte, and at the end of your appointment you may choose a cookie which was fresh-baked in the morning. Pros: the staff and the lattes/cookies Cons: few extended hours/ weekend hours more

Horrible 7/17/2009

I cracked a tooth and went there because I am on unemployment. This was my first time using Peak Vista services. I go in there and waste 20$ for my copay to have this person tell me I have an abcessed tooth that needs to be pulled. I could have told her that. She only provided me with an antibiotic and refused to give me a pain killer despite the fact that I wrote 5 for the level of pain I was in. The pain was going through my jaw, to my ear making it feel like I had an ear infection, and to my temple. I was at the point of shaking and crying. Then she tells me it would be 1500$ for a root canal or 100$ for pulling it and wanted me to decide on the spot. So much for compassion! I was just another number to her. If you hate your job, quit! I felt so violated when I was done. Then they referred me to another clinic, no they don't do something as standard as this on their own. They want 166$ to pull the tooth. I could go to comfort dental and get this done and be treated better. I 'd understand if I was on there on a weekly basis and was begging for pain killers for some phantom pain, but I didn't deserve to be treated like that. Now I have to wait 2 weeks to get a paycheck to spend my rent money to get this fixed. Meantime, what happens if I run out of antibiotic and the infection returns? Their solution - come back in and pay more money so they can give you another perscription. If I had money I wouldn't even waste my time with these people! What I really love is how there were other people with kids in there that were so happy they were taken care of and what not, and all of their copays were lower than mine. Learn this lesson well - Go in there, lie about your income, tell them you are homeless and you will get free services. It helps to be knocked up and push out a couple of units. But if you are an honest hardworking american that does your fair share of work, get ready to be charged for every penny you have. Oh, and what I really love about their website, they say you can come there for all of your needs, including cosmetic. Since when are cosmetic services funded by the government? Cons: Everything more
