Classic bait-and-switch: I was quoted by a woman on the phone $65 over spot price for gold, but charged $75 over spot in person. Seems like a small difference for a n00b like me, but consider that 10 x 100 customers is $1000 extra that they made from bait & switch.\r ""Ask spot"" today was approx. $1064 when I walked in. I bought 1oz for $1139. I even asked the counter man ""is that like $65 over spot?"" and he replied ""Yeah"".\r I realise in a couple of years all these prices will be funny and moot, but my duty is to warn other shoppers today about this unscrupulous business.\r \r On another thought maybe they are quitting business because the display cases seemed barren in comparison to coin shops that I regularly visit. They do have a junk tray for the scavengers. more

Attitude Isssues 1/28/2007

While the selection was bordering satisfactory I found the attitude of many of the employees to be less then proffesional. A problem I have experianced with many other coin collectors who appear to believe that the only people knowledgable of nusimatics are retired old men. Not my choice for coins but if you fit there profile of a good customer you may get more respect. more

Great selection. I enjoy collecting coins and you can find many at this shop. I was given good deals, and the selection was great. I found many rare coins and ones I never knew about.
