I had been talking about this little greek resturant that I was told about to my friend, who moved here from St. Louis. We went on a Saturday afternoon, and sat on the patio, since that is reportedly the place to be. It ended up being a disaster from start to finish. The waitress, who started off seeming disinterested to be at work, brought us 2 iced teas, but aparently forgot the ice. We asked her for just a cup of ice so we wouldnt have to send them back. After waiting for completely too long, my friend went inside and got it herself. ( strike1) I ordered a Calzone, and a salad, while she got the greek plate. When i asked if they had any house dressings, she didnt know what that meant. We slowly explained it to her, and she said that they made an italian dressing, but she didnt know what vinegarette meant, so again, we had to explain it. Finally, when the salad came, it was wilted. I told her that it didnt seem fresh, and she said, ""yeah it is, i watched them cut it""... My jaw dropped... ( strike 2) I could seriously go on forever about how dumb this chick was, but the last straw was when she decided to talk back to me when I told her that they made me a Stromboli, instead of a Calzone. She said that they were the same thing, and she could have them make me another one. I didnt want ANOTHER one, I wanted the right one! The calzone, when it finally came, was burned on the outside, and the dough was still gooey on the inside, with cold shredded cheese. ( strike 3) At this point, my friend asked for the manager, and she said that he was bussy, bc ""he went downstairs"" . I'm not sure what was the big emergency downstairs, but the waitress was about to get strangled up there... Never Again...
Pros: location
Cons: Waitress, food, freshness, cleanliness, managment, promptness... could go on forever.
