Get your groceries here for cheap 12/28/2005

San Gabriel Superstore is a good place to get all of your Asian goods. I especially like to buy my produce here, as it is cheaper than many of the American supermarkets; however, it is not as clean. It is adequate though. Beware though, as many of the employees do not speak English. Parking is a hassle during peak periods, which is usually on the weekend. Also, be careful, as a friend of mine had her purse stolen in the parking lot. more

Chinese Grocery Store 10/9/2005

The San Gabriel Superstore is the sister store to Shun Fat located in Monterey Park. It's hard to find parking sometimes. The prices are fairly priced. They have seafood and meat. I always go for the Chinese junk food. The cool part about the store is that there are smaller clothing and accessory boutiques inside. more

wow... this market is pretty big... they are almost self contained within this place... they have almost everything you would want when you come to a place like this... resturants... groceries ... electronics... and much more... i would come to san gabriel superstore on the weekends and it was pretty bad... the parking espcially.. there was no where to park and i would have to circle around the lot ot even find a spot... more

REALLY BIG 9/23/2005

This supermarket is absolutely huge. Almost anything that you can name, it sells. To cell phones, medicine, drinks, and of course groceries. It sells everything. To find something however, could be a hard task. You could always ask the employees there because they would always be happy to assist you. It's in an extremely convenient location with many many many shopping centers and restaurants surrounding it. If you can't find something and you want to buy it, try finding it as San Gabriel Superstore. more

San Gabriel Superstore 9/6/2005

This place has a lot of stuff to buy. Some stuff are really expensive though. I don't go there often but the last times went there, it was an okay experience. It's just like any other market with a lot of shops around. There's a lot of people around so it can get crowded especially on sundays. The services there are okay but some people can be straight up rude. more

Food, Clothes, Groceries All found here 8/21/2005

The title says it all. A shopper can find any product that he or she is looking for at the San Gabriel Superstore, which has various items of great quality such as clothes, trading cards, toys, groceries, hot meals, candy and much much more! Fresh produce and meat and fish is offered where the butcher will take lines of people to serve to their needs. It is a great place, also, to find Chinese CDs and herbs. Also, there are many restaurants, cafes, and other things that surround this attraction. It is pretty clean, for a market. more

A Huge Chinese Market 8/20/2005

Inside San Gabriel Superstore, there are clothing boutiques, gift shops, frame shop, and a huge supermarket. There are so many selections inside the supermarket. They have fresh meat, seafood, and vegetable, and all in reasonable price. They have so many selections in very thing. Sometime you will be confused on which brand you want to buy. more

Just Ok 8/19/2005

I'm not really into looking around super large size stores and this is one of them. This place offers a wide variety of buying, eating and a lot of walking. I get frustrated just trying to find a place to park. I honestly wish they had never gotten rid of the target that once stood in it's place. Tour buses regularly venture here so you can imagine the crowds then. I must say there are a lot of items to look at and if you like to shop in crowded places this is a good option for that. Not really my cup of tea though. more

this place is huge! it used to be a target until shun fat took over. there is plenty of parking, but it always fills up on the weekends. traffic there is horrible and you'll probably get honked here and there. but when you get inside the store you will most likely find what you need from boba to music. they even have a few clothing stores inside. everything is real convenient and you can find things very quickly. more

huge market 8/14/2005

This supermarket not only sells groceries, but it's like a mall inside. There is a Boba place, food places, and lots of little vendors selling a variety of stuff. They sell clothing, makeup, purses, ginseng, and music. The supermarket part is in the back as you enter from the front of the building. The groceries are ok, sometimes by the end of the day, it's not as fresh. This is a Chinese supermarket, but they also sell products you would find at Ralphs or Vons. Parking can sometimes be difficult because it gets really crowded. Adjacent to the market are a bunch of restaurants worth trying as well. more

A ton of different shops in one! 8/10/2005

I live by dozens of different supermarkets and I have to say, this one is the most convenient out of all of them. It has a stationary shop, a dried food shop, clothing, jewelry and almost everything under one roof. The prices are about on par with what other Asian markets are selling things for. The place is a bit on the noisy side though and things are often a little disheveled. more
