had a wonderful experience: I want to Tina's salon for a nail service. I was very impressed how CLEAN and private it was. I saw her sanitation machine which she removed her clean tools from. I felt she was very informative to all my nail care needs. I suggested home care product so my nails service would last long. That's a first. I have never had a nail person tell me how to make my nail service last. I now have a regular appointment with Tina. more

I found This Salon On the Internet 11/27/2007

After locating Tina's website, I decided to schedule an appointment for a manicure and pedicure. Tina occupies a cozy but professional private suite in the Medical Arts Building in downtown san mateo ...... There is plenty of parking on 3rd ave.... A very experienced nail technician, Tina is fast but thorough. My nails look great! In a nutshell, expect excellent service in a one-on-one setting that is priced right. New To California 11/27/2007

I had just moved to the area and was not able to find a really good nail professional. I went to a few other places which were cheap, and you could tell by the quality. I was desperate to find someone else and checked online where I found Tina's information. There were several reviews praising her work so I thought I would see what the talk was all about. She is great! I am so please with my nails. She does an outstanding job and my nails look so much better now. I was so excited to find a professional who really knew about nails and took care to inform me about her techniques. I highly recommend Tina to anyone. She is so personable as well. A great find 11/23/2007

I found Tina by sheer accident just surfing the web. I had been looking for a new nail person because I live on the peninsula and have always driven into the city to get my nails done but it was a real drag. Tina is THE QUEEN of nails. This would include toe nails. Her pedicures are to die for and like the other reviewer commented, it was the first time I had a pedicure in bed and it was heaven. How many of you have ever fallen asleep during a pedicure??? Tina relaxes you so much it will have that effect on some people other than me, I'm sure. Tina is professional but also very friendly and when you are with her you almost feel like the two of you are long lost friends. She makes your nails look like a million bucks and her technique has given me the strongest, longest lasting nails I've ever had. I will be a customer of hers for as long as she is in business, unless she moves to the city =) I would recommend Tina to anyone that is looking for an excellent nail technician. Kellye more

My First Pedicure With Tina 11/19/2007

Tina is absolutely wonderful! I went to her for the first time last week for a pedicure and it was the best one I have ever gotten. Gone are the days of going to those unsanitary, cheap nail salons. I'm very happy with Tina's work 11/15/2007

I have been going to Tina for a year and a half now. I was referred to her when my nail lady retired. I have even told her I can see the difference in my nails compared my other nail person. The shape is better and the manicures last longer. Tina does suggest the you refresh your manicure in between appointments. However, I don't always have time to do that. My nails still last 2 weeks without peeling or chipping. Her pedicures a are heavenly!! My nails are very important to me. I would defiantly recommend her. www.tinacanada.com is her website. I get lot's of complements 10/2/2007

I have been going to Tina for over a year now and I have always found her to be both friendly and professional. Her work is excellent and I am constantly getting complements on how nice my nails look. The gels I have last a full 3 weeks and still look good even then. She is on time and has also been able to accomodate schedule changes when needed. The atmosphere in her shop is calm and relaxing and provides a brief but enjoyable escape from the everyday world. I became acquainted with Tina Canada and I've been her client for eight years. Tina's work as a nail technician is of excellent standards. Her work is extremely accurate, neat, and thorough. She does her work entirely in a clean manner and her work atmosphere is very comfortable. Tina's work habits are ethical and she is on time and is willing to work late to accommodate her clients. Tina Canada's nail service ifs first class. She is always on time, and she takes her time to do a fine pedicure. She is very clean, orderly and professional. When I leave her studio, I feel so proud of my toenails, and am anxious to show them off by wearing sandals. Anon. more

Best Pedicure in San Mateo!! 7/31/2007

Tina's salon is extremely relaxing and spa-like. Her pedicures are wonderful and so worth the price compared to the standard neighborhood nail salon. Tina makes you very comfortable, you are free to read a magazine, relax, or chat. I normally bury my head in a magazine at the nail salon, but Tina is so friendly and down-to-earth that I enjoyed chatting with her during my time there. She also offers great advice about home care. My feet feel and look fantastic, try this place and yours will too! more

I been a long time client of Tina's approx 20yrs. What kept me coming back all these years is the quality and consistency in her work. I constantly get complements on my nail. She's in a very private with no background noise. The other reason is this is an odor free salon. That's right there's absolutely no chemical smell. Tina really cares about the health of your nails. My nail are not only important to me they are important to Tina as well. That's what keeps me coming back. more

This is a very nice nail salon in san mateo. With high quality nail services. Tina does a great job. I've never had a manicure last so long. Tina has been doing my nails for almost 20 years which should speak volumes about the work she does. My nails always look like I want them to look and she puts up with my idiosyncrasies - like chipping all the acrylic off once a year or so. I would certainly recommend her to anyone looking for a great nail technician. more

Tina does a great job. She is up on the most important health related steps to assure that her clients are safe. Her space is lovely, serene and always clean and neat. She is professional, always on time and works to get you finished in a timely manner. She stocks the latest products and newest nail colors.
