The best Chinese food in America. 3/14/2010

This is by far the best Chinese food that I have ever had. I love the broccoli with garlic sauce and the sweet and sour chicken. The hot and sour soup is phenomenal as well. All of the entree's come with a large helping of ham fried rice (or plain rice), egg roll and a fortune cookie. The vegetable are always fresh and delicious. The service here is five star (simply the best). I never have to worry about my water glass not being filled because the staff are so efficient. The atmosphere is elegant and refined. This is a dynamic restaurant for people of all ages who want authentic Chinese food. WONDERFUL! WONDERFUL! WONDERFUL! Pros: Fresh vegetables, great service. Cons: Parking is difficult. more

Yum yum! 2/4/2010

Don't go here if your on a diet, the portions are huge and super yummy! Went with my visiting in-laws and we shared what we ordered. It was ALL soooo good! We will be back! I'm even excited about the left overs we brought home. Delicious, fairly priced, and good service! Pros: Very tasty! Cons: Huge portions! more

No one here knows what they're talking about... 11/26/2009

Szechwan is one of the best Chinese food restaurants I have been to, and I am Asian. The atmosphere is great and it doesn't feel like a cheap Chinese take out place. The food is excellent. I recommend the egg flower soup and General Tao chicken. It comes in HUGE portions with a big bucket of steamed sticky rice. The service is great. I don't know when the other reviewers went, but I know (from being a local) that Szechwan has always been a fantastic restaurant. The food is excellent and worth the prices. Pros: Cheap prices, great food. more

Disgusting! 6/12/2009

What the heck happened to this place?? It used to be the best in the state now I'm scared to eat anything but the vegetarian dishes here. My wife got sick - TWICE! we thought the first time was a fluke and the shrimp was a mistake. We won't go back. Pros: cheap lunches Cons: awful ingredients more

Worst experience in Park City 8/27/2008

Coming from Los Angeles, I consider myself somewhat of a Chinese food connoisseur and have loved this place ever since it opened. This year, however, either they got new owners or just stopped caring. The food quality is subpar (rubbery chicken, weak vegetables, small portions), the prices high and the service miserable (you'll actually have to get up to get your own water and chopsticks if you're in a hurry). You're much better off ordering from the menu at Panda Express across the way! Pros: Only Chinese restaurant in town Cons: Only Chinese restaurant in town more

No wonder people complain they are hungry after eating chinese food 10/8/2006

I've eaten at the restaurant twice...the first time was for lunch. This last time was for dinner and I will not eat there again! The food this time around tasted ordinary, the service was bad and the meal expensive. I have eaten at a lot of good chinese restaurants in SF, LA, London, Taiwan and Boston. This place doesn't compare. The menu seems to offer some pretty sophisticated and authentic items minus the General Tsao's Chicken. We ordered the Kung Pao Shrimp, Chicken in Hot Garlic Sauce, Stir Fried Green Beans and the Pork Dumplings. How disappointing!! Don't bother eating at a restautant when 1) the vegetables are cut larger than the slices of meat (Chxn w/ Hot Garlic Sauce) 2) when the restaurant uses ""the traid"" for vegetable fillers ie. carrots/celery/onion (Kung Pao Shrimp) 3) when the Kung Pao dish doesn't even have peanuts in it. The green beans and the dumplings were okay...but I've have had better... Overall, the flavors of dishes were bland and the meat dishes were mostly all vegetables. Trust me, I've been looking for really good chinese food in Utah since we moved here, but it looks like we will still have to go to the Chinatown outside of Las Vegas if we want to go somewhere within driving distance. Sorry folks who like this restaurant...this place would not cut it outside of Utah. Pros: clean, contemporary atmosphere...pork dumplings were okay Cons: food didn't cut it...service should have been better to make up for the ordinary food more

I Normally don't like Chinese BUT...... 6/25/2006

Ohhhh my HECK!!! This place is incredible. My husband took me here for the first time on Valentines Day, and I would have to say I eat there 3-4x a month, AT LEAST!!! The food is soooo fresh and tastey. My favorite is the Orange Flavored beef as it has a great spicey kick along with the Veggie LoMein.\r \r Parking can be a pain here, but just drive around to the back of the building. There is a back entrance into the restaurant. Pros: Food, Service more

Best Chinese... in all the land! 11/23/2005

If you are looking for the world's best Chinese food, look no further than Szechewan Chinese Kitchen. The General Tsao's Chicken is nothing short of divine... prepared crispy and fresh, in the most amazing sauce! Everything from this restaurant is a godsend. What are you waiting for... go now... and FEAST. Pros: Food, Staff, Price more
