My husband and I lived here 2 years, on a 3rd floor 2BR, 1 1/2BA unit at the back end near the highway. Aside from a lot of noise from Rt. 32, it was really great.... and they even took care of that when they replaced our windows with double-paned ones. While we were there, they underwent renovations. Unfortunately, we never got to experience the newer cabinetry or appliances that went into neighboring units after their tenants moved out (since we came in too early) but it was good to see the updates. The new windows made a huge difference in comfort (less drafty and noisy), they didn't fall out of their tracks like the old ones. (Can you tell this was my one beef with the place?) Very big and spacious apartments. We added a pantry and a butcher block to our kitchen to make up for lack of storage/counter space, and still had room for a 2 person table! Management was very helpful and attentive. Easily reachable, and they always responded immediately to a problem! The longest I ever waited for service (aside from terminator service for ants that came in, had to wait till his next scheduled visit 2 wks.) was 24 hours! Even a clogged toilet got a response within an hour at 2am on a Saturday (last time I let my hubbie's friends have chili at my apt). Bedrooms were huge! We almost NEVER heard our neighbors through the walls or floor, unless there was extreme noise, even then it was muted. Apt did smell like smoke from our neighbor, but management helped fix the problem(due to my husband's allergy being affected). Common hall was always kept clean and well repaired. Landscape tended regularly. Frequent neighbor patrols by police were good to keep us feeling safe (and they helped out with my woman in distress dead car moment). Neighbors tended to be pleasant types, mostly. Ample parking most days (except holidays). Price was average for the area. Would still live there, if hadn't changed jobs and needed to move.
