Overpriced HK Style Chinese 11/2/2005

Considering the location of this restaurant (the very heart of touristy Chinatown), this place attempts to advertise themselves as high-end, fancy but yet fun, Chinese food. Dim Sum is okay, Entrees are way too overpriced. Their sister restaurant in Flushing is cheaper but not any better. They cater mostly to tourists and big groups. In my opinion, too fluffed up. more

Good Dim Sum 8/31/2005

They serve fresh dim sum here. My favorite is the pan fried shrimp noodle roll. They serve it with a sweet hoisin sauce. They have 3 levels, so the wait isn't very long. Decent service, but not exceptional. Make reservations if you have a large party. more

authentic chinese cruisine 8/23/2005

I love the dim sum in this place and the congee is so thin and tasty. I tend to order the dumpling noodle soups here when I don’t want to spend too much or eat too much but if I'm with a big group of friends, we order a variety of dim sum dishes and share them. Also you don’t end up seated with a bunch of strangers and worry about them taking your food by mistake. more

dim sum made to order 8/22/2005

My favorite dim sum place. No carts, but that means that everything is made to order and fresh. Be sure to try the mango shrimp and the stir-fried turnip cake. They even make good soup dumplings, though not quite as good as those at Joe's Shanghai around the corner. They also have a great selection of fresh fruit juices and tong shui. more
