Sweet Water Pool Svc

I have used Sweetwater for 4 summers now and they have been terrific. I tried to do the chemicals, and measurements on my own, but I was hopeless and had algae problems. Sweetwater has been very attentive, and really allowed me to enjoy my pool more. I'm a big fan of their weekly service, and feel that they do a thorough job all summer. They also do my openings and closings, so I don't have to worry about that. I've had some bad pool services in the past, so Sweetwater has been a big change for me and I'm glad I chose them - T more

the best you can say about them is maybe your pipes wont break after the winter,then again, maybe and 1.25 will get you a clark bar.They should change the name,sweetwater was something back in the day....new owner who knows nothing about pools or how to deal with people,a couple of people there know their stuff....so ask for the guys who know their stuff if you use them. the girls in the office are great but really,they arent the ones doing the work. I'm an ex employee. i was told to learn to fix heaters via the internet,think about that....natural gas,pilot flames, your property and....youtube. don't worry though if they f something up you will be placated by their white collar service,whatever that is. two of the three other reviews here are from former employees. the don't bother using them is an actual customer and their review is typical of what i saw there.good luck. more

Last year was the first year my husband and I owned a pool so we decided to get a pool service to help us with our first year. We choose sweetwater and that was a huge mistake! They put in a new salt water generator for us and had no clue how to operate or fix it. We ended up figuring it out ourselves. In the middle of the year we got algae (we were using their weekly service) and they did nothing about it so again, we figure it out ourselves how to resolve the issue. Since they closed the pool for us last year we decided to have them open it. They came and did the initial shocking and after that we told them to go away since they couldn't come back and finish the opening for another week even though we were told they would be back in a couple of days to finish once the pool was clear. Once again after doing some reading and research on the internet, we found we could do it ourselves much better and cheaper (never mind that the guys opening the pool were rude and you could tell they could care less on how the pool looked). Don't waste your time and money with them! Do a little reading on the web and trust me you'll know way more then they do at pool services!!! I'm giving them 1 star because I have to give them something but really they don't ever deserve that. Pros: Inneficient and don't know what they're doing more

I have noticed a marked improvement with your response time to all my requests, and repair needs. The pool has looked great all year, despite the bad weather. All the employees I have dealt with have been pleasant and knowledgable. They have told me that the new owner, while new to the business, has allowed people to grow and take on more responsibilities. Everyone I have dealt with ( especially Dana, in the office) has made my experience an easy and enjoyable one. This company is well, was once a quality place of employment from workers who care to a owner knowledgeable in the business of pools and people. At one time it was the type of company that customers would recommend and workers would return to. In my opinion and most likely the opinion of more then just the dozens of customers who have complained to me about inept and unreliable service from the bottom all the way up and mostly residing with the new owner. I would not only not recommend this co. but would also recommend switching if this is your service company, I mean how long must your pool be green this summer?
